No not yet, I've only added the threaded rod through one side to see it's size, will be playing with assembly next. Thanks for the tip, I will keep it in mind -
TFA Quadnocular Build - T5H 3D Files

Finally finished printing and hardware has arrived. Will do a trial fit before adding any glue. Then it will be on to filling and priming, that is going to take a while. -
Looks great, well done

TK-24233 Requesting ANH Stunt Centurion Status (ANOVOS) [385]
gmrhodes13 replied to BDWC's topic in Request Centurion Status
Congratulations trooper -
I noticed the same thing whilst building mine and adjusted them to the boot sizing, I also trimmed the one with the extra length to match the other side. The only way to make the opening bigger now would be to either add a larger rear cover strip or try some heat to change the opening to more of an oval shape to fit over the boot better.

WIP TK ANH...HERE WE GOOOOO, (slowly)!!!

Normally with your Aker fitted in the chest area and microphone in the helmet you won't get feedback, unless you have it turned up too high -
Jenny's First Build - TK ANH Stunt (AP kit)
gmrhodes13 replied to JenEcho's topic in ANH Build Threads
Hey Jenny you can post your images into your thread by using the direct image link on Imgur \ Yes a heat gun will work BUT definitely make sure you practice on some scraps first, plastic has a short space of time between pliable and molten mess. I would suggest also using two small blocks of wood so you can put them either side and move along once the piece is heated, will help to keep them straight. Good luck, I'm sure you will do just fine -
Jared Requesting Pre Approval Review (ATA)

Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper -
I've seen some add a pouch/pocket inside the backplate also if you have room between thighs and legs that could be of a good area to try attaching a pouch/pocket. I keep amp and icomm in my chest area but there is still room for adding a pouch/pocket for a mobile there. Really depends on how the armor fits you as to wear to fit it.

Ideas for shoulders pouches
gmrhodes13 replied to Christianbruxelles's topic in Heavy Weapons Trooper
I've seen a few different ways, Velcro or elastic with Velcro tabs looped through the pouch straps then around the chest/shoulder strap. Some have a piece of Velcro glued on the armor and have the matching side glued to the pouch. Magnets have been used by some, which seems to work well as long as the pouch doesn't get knocked. I'm sure there are heaps of different ways on MEPD -
March 2018 Request for CRL Updates thread

The FOTK's in TLJ have weathering through and after a fire fight and not a specific other type of model, they could no doubt be cleaned up if and when they return to barracks but while they are in that situation they have weathering. We all know that a painted FOTK can get damaged the more it is trooped with, unlike an OTTK which most of the time can be polished out. Someone who may have been approved in an FOTK and have trooped extensively and be weathered over time would still be able to apply for L2 & L3 if weathering is allowed, just my thoughts. -

I found them very useful on my shins as they are constantly opening and closing, I did add everywhere else on my build but it was pretty much overkill, nothing else has moved so far.

March 2018 Request for CRL Updates thread

Some TLJ detail photos: Boxes separate on ab Could add binders as an option, second lip under chest plate very distinctive Rear of spats on right appears stepped. Hunchback troopers, it hurts my eyes. More cods Flash light mount Can just make out flash light mount on these two also so it seems a common addition, not for Phasma though. Looks like it's update time again for me Baton lights and details Forearm closure Thigh and arm overlaps and another nice cod photo with it folding under. Lights run up handles when charging laser ax's Gaskets still appear to be rubber Does this mean we can add weathering ;) More wreathing and blaster torch rail. Also forearm box lifted at front. (deleted scene) Nice side shot of teeth, also right forearm box barely attached, aluminium rail on blaster mount. Another side of helmet, also side of cod with fold under.
