  1. So sorry for your loss, real life can be a real blocker at times, looking forward to seeing you back on the build, when you are ready
  2. Also at this stage have a think if you would like to keep anything inside the tube, having a removable end cap can be handy, I added an angle piece of abs to the insides of the caps, glued elastic to one, then on the other end added Velcro to the elastic and plastic angle, can now pull the cap off and remove the elastic via the Velcro. Just somewhere to keep items, trading cards, wrist bands, working with children card (we need them locally) that sort of thing.
  3. Looking forward to the progress, good luck with the build
  4. Correct but 7 years of trooping and I've never dropped a resin/plastic blaster Rubber is great but doesn't allow all the bells and whistles and the younglings do like a light and sound show
  5. That is the plan but there are some outstanding CRL updates still to be completed so we don't want to start too many projects before these are done
  6. Nice work trooper, Imgur is the way to go with posting photos, once you upload just copy the "direct link" straight into your post. Just a couple of things to really make your build stand out: Could bring your forearms up a little, they are touching your handguards. Ridges on forearms not matching, rotate the right arm to match the left. Shoulder bells could come in more at the top, reduce the strapping length. Adjust position of shoulder straps at the back so they are aligned better to back plate. Thigh cover strips should stop before the lower ridge. Drop boxes should align with the end of the plastic belt, you may need to add a dap of glue to the straps to help them stay in the same position. Ab button paint could be a little smaller, the smaller ab plate could be trimmed a little more, also the plates do not have rounded corners There are also a few images the DO's will want to see which I don't see in your application (perhaps they are in the links) Blaster both sides and D ring Thigh strip rivets, inside and out. Sniper plate from front and directly side on to show sniper plate to shin alignment. Butt/cod rivet/snaps. TD screws (and should be "pan head") S trim Green lenses Helmet screws top and bottoms. A few tweaks and I'm sure you will be fine, good luck
  7. Can vary but usually ends and is covered by the TD is pretty normal
  8. One of the areas I was looking at when the update was begin discussed, belt is the same, both could do to be a little longer BUT at present at least most armors can be used to create a TKC
  9. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper. Just a couple of bits you could improve on. You have some bunching of gaskets at the knees. Shoulder bells could come in at the front. Forearms rotate inwards a little. Looking forward to seeing some trooping photos
  10. Nice work, definitely a good idea to use double snaps in key areas, shoulder bells are another great area, they do take some abuse and having two snaps has helped me in the past from being able to troop when one let go
  11. Check this thread https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/46761-new-helmet-design-epix-crew-merchandisepromo-clothing/
  12. Hi Dawn welcome to you and the team
  13. Could you please post photos of both sides of the ammo strip thigh rivets. Also From the side sniper plate like the following so the angle can be seen from the sides:
  14. Screws are not correct, should be "pan head" style, they have round corners, not sharp edges like your screws.
  15. I find it easier to paint before trimming, less to mask, just mask the edges, I still add newspaper to the outside to make sure no overspray gets on the outside of the helmet, then I use a quick drying sating black, works great, dries quickly and doesn't reflect any light from outside. Really not that hard
  16. Mineral turpentine is fine but I generally use a tooth pick or sharp offcuts of abs
  17. Coming along nicely, measure twice and cut once (or paint)
  18. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks
  19. Nice work, you may want to add a little glue to your drop box straps as the boxes are not aligned with the end of the belt in some of your photos. TD screws should be pan head style You could reduce the paint on your ab buttons, they are quite large You may also want to add some extra photos. Thigh ammo strip attachments/rivets inside and out Sniper plate attach met front and both sides. Also D ring Positioning of your ab buttons looks little off, sides should match up Good luck with approval
  20. Thank Rob for the update and the years of service to the Stormtrooper community, looking forward to seeing the updated armor and contact details
  21. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
