  1. If you are deciding to keep the bracket system I would encourage using the supports with them, they will continue to crack over time.
  2. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks
  3. They can quite easily crack, some leave the brackets minus the elastic and use a separate strapping system so there isn't as much strain on the areas. I would advise gluing a piece of ABS behind, Tony has a nice thread for adding supports https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/36372-how-to-support-pads-for-mr-nostripes-bracket-system/ I believe a lot of people use M3 sized screws.
  4. Nice work trooper, a couple of photos I know the DO's like are: Sniper plate front and both sides. Thigh ammo strip rivets inside and out. Just watch your belt placement, it's a little slanted in first image. Good luck with approval.
  5. Many of us use an online photo host such as Imgur to post large images, yours appear a little small to see much detail, one thin that does stick out is your ab buttons, check against the below image Drop boxes should align at the end of the belt. If you could post up some higher resolution photos it would help to get more feedback.
  6. Looking forward to the progress pics.
  7. Have you curved the belt at all, a little heat and some strips as wood for clamps can help to make the belt sit better. If you have curved the belt and it's still popping off then I would suggest changing the snap, they can normally come apart easily with a squeeze of pliers
  8. Great news, looking forward to the build progress
  9. I found adding the outside strips first then later the insides, doesn't matter as much if the insides aren't perfect. Also you do need to clamp them down pretty tight, either clamps, magnets or painters tape, or a mixture of all three which is what I use and A LOT of them. I ordered another 50 since this photo was taken Leaving the glue to cure for at least 24 hours and longer if you have parts that need extra tension to hold strips down. At least with E6000 they are easy to pull apart and rub your thumb along to remove the excess glue.
  10. I added an extra nylon strap that I can attach to the thigh for carrying weapons helps to keep them level. Here are just some of the cosmetic differences if you compare the images: Front cover too big, screws around first rows of lights, silver clips on ends of flipped arms, wrong number of leds, black square detail, circle detail, top grip different size.
  11. Nice work, over the years I do find the one that gets the most reaction is just "move along, move along"
  12. Nice work, now the wait for glue to dry continues
  13. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper
  14. When in doubt check the gallery sections, great source of references
  15. Nice work, just a couple of things you could fine tune that would really make you shine. You may want to add some foam behind your sniper plate to stop it catching under the thigh. Butt plate looks to be pushing backwards away from kidney, perhaps tighter elastic on cod. Just watch your gaps, thighs are a different heights which you notice on the rear image as one touches butt plate more that the other. Gaps on forearms to wrist, again close on wide side to the other. Also with ab plates they do not get rounded off on corners. May just be the close up but your tube stipes look a little far apart. Also hovi's you don't see the white rim on the hovi's much on the Hero's, just a little on wear areas. Also not white on the insides. You may also want to get your cover strip closure to sit a little flatter, opening is quite noticeable from in this image. Once again great work and good luck with approval
  16. Nice work came out great, just a few adjustments would make you really shine but I don't think they will hold you up for approval. Watch the height difference of the thighs. You could reduce the gap at the elbows a little, bring the forearms up and biceps down. Shoulder bells could come in a little more at the front to reduce gap to the chest, perhaps shorten the shoulder bell front elastic straps. On the side photos the thighs look like they have some room in them, not sure if you could reduce the gap. Spats should sit just under the black oval on shins. There are a few things missing on the Batons which your GML may or may not pick up on so you could leave that out of your submission pics As I say no real hold ups for basic, good luck with approval.
  17. Hot Toys unboxing, some nice blaster details, FO cogs on F-11
