  1. Also you will need either a blaster or lightsaber: "While blasters (weapons) are not required for basic approval, for EIB and Centurion levels they are, and may need upgrades (also listed in the CRL)."
  2. Nice work, something that stands right out which you may want to correct before the DO's see your application is your shin closing, they need to close outside over inside you have them opposite, this is so the opening can not be seen from the outside. Also the cover strips should stop before the ridge on the bottom of your thighs and also on the top of your shins. Cover strips should also stop above the lower thigh ridge on the front also Although a weapon is optional for basic approval it is a requirement for EIB
  3. Some useful threads https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29077-adding-the-kidney-shim-not-bad-but/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30226-side-shims-on-abkidney-help/
  4. Hello and welcome aboard, looking forward to seeing your build progress, good luck
  5. I have found acrylic comes off plastic quite easily, I use it for weathering on some projects as it's easy to rub off, using enamel based paint will make sure it lasts
  6. We are quite a few away from 1000 for centurion BUT getting close to 500 and there may be something special in the works for those who have earned that level shhh
  7. Looks awesome, amazing work, wish I had a little one I could make my Mini Mee
  8. Hello and welcome aboard, have a look in the First Order Battle Group section, some great builds there to follow which will give you a better idea of what is involved in building.
  9. Hello and welcome aboard looking forward to seeing our build
  10. Congratulations and welcome to the EI ranks trooper
  11. If you still have issues this link works:
  12. Nice work trooper a couple of things you could address: Mic tips should be white on the rim, also check the mesh size, Anovos is quite small, from the CRL: Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh, with the rim of the mic and the inside white or painted white. Small ab plate could be trimmed a little more, could touch up those ab buttons too From the sides it doesn't appear your ab rivets aren't in alignment, you may want to post a close up of those without the armor on You will need to post an outside image of the snaps Also include an image of your D ring on the blaster. If you want some real screen accuracy you would replace your TD brackets, should not have rounded corners and screws are closer to the ends Good luck with approval
  13. A couple of thread with info
  14. There are certain events we are not allowed to carry a blaster, hospital visits and such, I don't bother carrying anything else, end up putting your hands on your belt a lot
  15. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks
  16. Nice work, a few images you will need to post: Close up of your shin sniper plate, front on and both sides Close up of your thigh ammo strip and rivets, inside and out. D ring on blaster It's also a bit hard to make out the teeth area, perhaps a front on photo of the teeth not at an angle A couple of adjustments you may want to make: Bring your shoulders in at the top, there is a large gap there. Rear shoulder straps are sitting up. Reduce the gap on your sides, from the CRL: L2 Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide You could paint the rim of your mic tips/hovis, from the CRL: L2 Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh, with the rim of the mic and the inside white or painted white. Good luck with the application.
  17. Going to be some happy people who built Captain Cardinal costumes, there is now a Black Series figure, depending on the current LMO's this could see a new CRL, then it would be what detachment does it fall under. https://www.target.com/p/star-wars-the-black-series-captain-cardinal-toy-figure/-/A-79416662 GUEST_e57a74e0-f763-4064-92f4-a07a77b1af77.webp
  18. 21spots remaining congratulations Alex TK55105
  19. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks
  20. Even when you think you are done you can find after the first troop or two that areas still need adjustment, event strapping can stretch over time and small adjustments are made from time to time, looking good.
  21. Hello and welcome aboard, looking forward to seeing some pictures soon
  22. Could very well be a different supplier of ABS, I've noticed locally differences in pulls depending on where the ABS has come from, also heat settings may have changed. Definitely a lower crisp appearance, perhaps reach out and give your findings, he may not be aware
