  1. I encountered some bleeding from some soft fabric pouches I made to protect my armor, I made them in black fleece material as I thought they would be nice and soft, never thinking the material would bleed, but weeks later I was checking the kit for our next event and opened to find some edges and corners had a small amount of black on the armor, I was lucky enough that I had applied about 4 coats of clear so used some cutting compound and managed to buff them all out. I then proceeded to purchase white polar fleece and started making the pouches again. You may be lucky and be able to polish the mark but worse case scenario would be re-paint like Tony has suggested.
  2. You will find many prop makers throughout the legion, there are some who do specific pieces some that do many, you'll find them all over the different detachments. You can find a lot of 3D files, getting rid of all the print lines in complex areas is challenging and time consuming for some, they can also be fragile. I have scratch built, resin, plastic and 3D printed blasters and props, all have their pros and cons, some events I wouldn't take a resin or 3D printed weapon too especially ones with younglings, they like to grab and pull on things so my unmodified Hasbro blaster is better for those events. My centurion approved blasters are heavier and more brittle so I use those for high profile events (usually no younglings). There is also price to think about, whether you want lights and sound, you wouldn't buy a solid blaster if you wanted that, also accuracy, do you want to achieve higher levels. In the end it basically comes down to a personal choice, your ability and price.
  3. Did you contact your GML (garrison membership liaison) ?
  4. Just watch some fitting issues, belt not overlapped properly, detonator not centered and left bicep not under shoulder I would think you are fine to submit your photos to your GML (garrison membership liaison) good luck
  5. We are always learning, it's just a pain when there is a large cost involved, well done with sticking with it
  6. Looks much better, you will have to address the shoulder straps sticking upwards, looks like you have velcro there, normally the straps free float in the back and are held down with elastic

  8. Nice work, rest those hands
  9. When in doubt always check the gallery section, lots of great references can be found there https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/24-anh-tk-reference/
  10. Noting better than BBB photos, good luck with the build, measure twice and cut once. If you are not aware we have a gallery section for references if you get stuck https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/
  11. Hello and welcome aboard
  12. I've not seen that before but I haven't seen anyone using twine wrapped around while heating. I'd probably try slightly heating an area with a heat gun and using something hard and curved inside to press that area out, also have something flat on the outside to stop it going too far, moving both these pieces around should gently push it out, then keep going in another area. ABS is really weird when its heated and has a mind of its own, a twitch to far with heat and you've got a molten mess. I just find more control with a heat gun as it's direct in one area not a whole piece. Wishing you luck fixing this.
  13. Bitten by the costuming bug, sounds familiar
  14. OUCH, I'd be walking away too (while throwing things around in the shed) Seems it's quite a bit of learning and trial/error
  15. Just edited your post as your images couldn't be seen. "direct link" works best for posting images Great work, good luck with approval
  16. Hello and welcome aboard, good luck with the journey, research is the key
  17. Hello and welcome aboard, good luck with the research
  18. Congratulations and welcome to the EI ranks trooper
  19. Appears it's common with AP, here's a Centurion passed set which look the same as you have, you should be good to go
  20. Well he has the F-11D with stock and the pistol, the cape well the who knows if the illustration is right the cape has probably just been made the same as Phasma, armored boots I'm still not sold on. I guess in the end it's what the LMO's will allow, they will be basing a lot on the figure (except helmet due to timeline of the character) unless something else comes out and that could happen anytime or not at all, but Disney does like their $'s though .
  21. Great work on add the overlaps in, many would have stopped for EIB but you've gone that extra mile, well done.
  22. Good luck with the chrome application, I know it can be very trying, holding my breath for you
