  1. Sprayed mine with just a basic satin black to stop any reflection to be seen through lenses.
  2. Don't get disheartened, when many of us give feedback it's for the highest levels as many want to achieve that. Wait and see what your GML says, many will accept it as it is but as I say some may not, no harm in checking. As I've said before there are plenty of threads and gallery images to check before trimming and if you aren't sure then ask, plenty of people in the wings ready to lend a hand.
  3. Nice work looks much better, just watch the overlap of the kidney and backplate, also your shoulder straps on the rear are sticking up a little mainly the right one, I'd say your backplate may have slipped down. Normally we are a little more picky than what your GML should be so don't stress It's really hard to get perfect photos when you can't take them yourself
  4. You can contact your GML at any time, not just for approval, they can give you a yes/no to any pieces you are not sure about, could save you some time asking now, rather than waiting until you are ready for approval and then having to replaces something.
  5. Depends which game version you are going to build, there are many differences between them. For example there is someone working on the Fallen Order version, there are difference in the costume not just a standard armor, he posted references and discussion started from there You would also start a build thread on the forum supply reference images, speak with our DL (detachment leader), the costume would then be discussed and reviewed any any changes made, once that has happened a CRL would need to be developed and then the LMO's would become involved.
  6. You can only use weapons and accessories which go with the correct version of armor, as example there are no references with an OTTK using a red pauldron so it could not be approved. Yes there are game versions who do wear a red pauldron but currently nobody has made that version of costume. You have to supply references of any new version of Stormtrooper, if from a game you then have to build the correct version armor to suit.
  7. Hello and welcome to the forum, best way to get feedback is posting a build thread like you have. There are lots of builds to follow as well as a full gallery of references, when in doubt ask. Some TD references and a thread here Good luck with the build

  9. The tube stripe decals should also have the white area as decal, it's a full one piece decal, not separate tube stips
  10. CRL's are only made if someone builds the costume, there are many variants in the games, we recently saw The Force Unleashed game version TK CRL approved. Currently we have people working on remnant stormtroopers, incinerator and motar, but unless they finish these costumes there will be no CRL. Here is some information on new to the legion costumes and CRL's https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLGuide
  11. Looks better, again it depends if your GML picks it up at basic approval, you may be ok. I would think it would be mentioned at EI and a possible hold up for Centurion, but that depends on the DO's.
  12. Nice work trooper, a few things you could adjust before the DO's get here: These are mainly dressing issues, your shoulder bells gaps should match, you can see your right side has a bigger gap at the top. Coverstrips on legs should be in alignment. On the backplate your right shoulder strap is not central to the backplate. Detonator and belt are angled. Left rear shin looks open, perhaps some heat to help it fully close You have a gap between the kidney and butt plate, I came up with a V tab method that helps this With a heat gun you bend strips of ABS plastic into the shape of a V, only glue one side and the other remains free to allow movement when you bend. Just helps stop the butt plate from pushing back from the back plate. You have gaps between the ab and kidney on both lower sides. Also tops should align Vocoder could have a little more paint Black rank on ear should be thicker. Tube stripes do not appear to be decals. Could you try taking another photo of your blaster, appears bent in this image. Also handle would have no weathering as this was a black plastic piece. Could you also post a close up of your Ab rivets and "Han" snap (upper right corner left side Ab) Good luck with approval
  13. Looking good, you may just want to lift your biceps a little, it will give me more room at the wrists, at present your forearms are hitting your hand plates You could also drop your belt down a little at the back, it's angled upwards quite a lot higher than the front, if you look at the side image. Also watch your drop box placement when moving and taking photos
  14. Unfortunately I would think it would be a showstopper as this is for centurion. A 3D printed replacement may get you out of trouble. I had a cocking lever do the same, I drilled down the center and the blaster and added a metal pin before gluing, has held up well.
  15. Congratulations and officially welcome to the ranks trooper
  16. Appears you may be missing a cocking lever

  18. Looks like you may have trimmed a little too much from the teeth/gum area. I would add some tape behind those and apply some ABS paste, then sand and polish. Over trimmed Excess paint How to make ABS paste
  19. Nice work, a bit fiddly but you are getting there
  20. I would think it may stick to the sticky back but that could still pull away over time. Perhaps remove the stick back with goo gone or a similar product then glue.
  21. I prefer no sticky back as being hot here it can come loose over time, i glue with E6000
  22. Congratulations and welcome back to the ranks trooper
  23. Here is your legion profile, https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=33208 you need to post it in this thread to gain 501st access here
