  1. Great video, almost there

  4. I think he means the blaster holding strap, how that is connected to the actual holster. I don't think we have any closeups of an original screen used E-11 holster on the RS version. I know many use a brad, some cut a T on the end of the strap, pass it through a small slit and the T end stops it pulling through.
  5. This is better example without coverstrips on
  6. Just watch when you want to trim them at the rear, they do twist to the left and if you straight cut them they won't look right, I left more material on the left bottom piece on the rear and less on the right. Note in the below image and the twisted appearance on the bottom left sides
  7. Many thanks Mario, that feeling of achievement never gets old
  8. You could reach out to members in your local garrison, you can find a list here https://www.501st.com/members/displayUnits.php

  11. Nice work trooper a couple of suggestions before the DO's get here: As mentioned your shoulder strap elastic is being pulled out quite a lot, you could try doubling over the elastic so it is a bit tighter Your butt plate is being pushed backwards, I came up with a V tab system which may help keep it in place You have some large openings at the front of your forearms, perhaps adjust these so the gaps are smaller, you could trim them on an angle towards the front, you only need them wide enough to get your hands through There should be minimal gap between the ab and kidney areas OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Button covers could be closer to the ends of the plastic belt Good luck with approval
  12. Nice work trooper, a couple of suggestions before the DO's get here. Your trap black stripes are a little large Also the rear black lines are a little short You could smooth/sand the sides of your shoulder straps as they are a little rough Smaller ab plate could be trimmed a little more, also a couple of the painted buttons look a little large Butt plate snaps are very close to the end Shoulder straps on the rear should really sit central to the back plate, yours are just to the side. Also your back plate is overlapping the kidney plate OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Back plate shall have no, or minimal overlap of the kidney plate. You could probably benefit with adding larger cover strips on the rear of you thighs so you could bring the thighs upwards, you have a larger area of black between them and the cod/belt area (notice in the reference image the drop boxes on top of the thighs not above) A blaster is required for higher level approval if you could please post some images of yours. Good luck with approval
  13. That's a well fitted interior, well done
  14. Very nice and neat, well done
  15. The image was made up guide of what ranks there may be and its not official, if you want screen accurate marking study some of the screen references, some helmets had the same rank markings on both sides and some didn't, you will find some examples here http://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-ANH-Stunt-Stormtrooper-armor-helmets.htm
  16. Congratulations Andrew here's to another great year for FISD

  18. It's probably a better question to ask over at Spec Ops as they look after this particular costume, we only look after Stormtroopers https://forum.specops501st.com/

  21. Great news, thank you very much Mario
  22. Updated holster spacing images STUNT HERO Also belt comer and button position references NOTE the belt cover is offset and closer to the end of the belt For Level 3, the corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt.
