  1. Photos would help to give you a better solution. If however you need to go really large and you have the raised ridges you would be better adding some shims on the sides rather than having the ridges wide apart with a central filler. A couple of threads that may be of interest. Raised ridges in this build
  2. That is not the correct link, that is your forum profile, should be this one, your membership profile https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=19142
  3. Very nice, love the labels, I only hand wrote mine, I may need an upgrade In case you haven't tried/tested just be careful using black material, sometimes it can bleed into the paint,, I found this with my first set of armor protectors, luckily it polished out with some auto compound polish, could have been humidity or slightly sweaty armor.
  4. Wrong link, this is the one you want https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=26147

  8. Looking forward to seeing your progress good luck
  9. Very nice, a metal will will save it from getting scratched in use
  10. Not specifically but if you read through the first page of vendors some mention who supplies commission suits You may also be able to reach out to your local garrison, some members will build armor for others at a price. You can find a lists of garrisons here https://www.501st.com/members/displayUnits.php
  11. Looking much better, just make sure in the corners there is not rounded areas
  12. Real life definitely coming first then Good luck on your special day trooper, congratulations to you both
  13. Great to see you back at it, real life can get busy at times. Good luck with the search for replacement parts, most you will find don't hold stock so you may have to wait for a little while.
  14. It can also depend on the hand plates and gloves, I've had to use different glues in the past, E6000 worked on some, Super glue on another and ended up using black silicon on another pair that just wouldn't stick. As already pointed out make sure you give both surfaces a rough up with sandpaper so it gives something for the adhesive to grip too.
  15. Just noticing a couple of things on your helmet. From the CRL: Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area. You have some paint on the gums which will need to be removed, mineral turps and toothpick/cotton buds will work. Also From the CRL: Ideally, the tube stripes are positioned approximately a pencil width from the side of the cheek. Although this is for Level 2 your tube stripes are quite a ways from the side of the cheek You could also reduce the gaps between the ears and helmet Also it looks as if the vocoder could lines/bumps could be a little more defined

  17. Nice work on the TD, a few images for length of tube, I think you are a tad long at present.
  18. Trim lines look ok. The correct cod for TLJ has a different shape and raised sides compared to what you have (TFA), although for basic approval the TFA style is accepted
  19. I would also bring forearms down a little, there is a big gap at the wrists to handplates.
  20. Has to meet the fabric belt so measurements can change For Level 3, the corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. @ sizing

  22. I make my belts to match the circumference of the armor while worn, depending on how the armor fits you can change the length. Can't say I've heard of the adding 5 inches to your waistline but I would think that would be about right. Always better to go a bit longer and cut off the extra rather than having a belt too short A good how to for making your own belt
  23. Have a read through the Getting Started area, this link should help Research is the key to this hobby
