I know for certain I need ab buttons, a new helmet (MRCE is in the works, slow going, but it is going) and something better than my spray painted Hasbro. After that it just comes down to adjustments and tweaks.

I got the Wal-Mart voice changer as well, about $20 total put into it. Running to a pair of Stompers Hovi speakers. Still undecided on whether or not I'll need fans, maybe after a summertime troop I'll know for certain. It's a bit of a pain to piece-meal all the electronics, but I think you will be happier with the results.

Does this mean the inmates are running the asylum? I'm right there with you. I've got my TK, and I've already started lurking/posting on ct.net, BSN, MEPD, JRS, and RL. I even took my figure collections and laid them out so I can try and figure out what suit to do next. LoL. It's a good thing I can't afford another suit right now, because I change my mind about every other day about what I want to do. Thankfully, I have a wife who is just as obsessed as me. She has 1 Padme approved over on the RL side of things and is working on an improved version, and is constantly looking for the next thing to do. She not only supports, but encourages the sickness.

I think a hero would make a great display piece, but for trooping I'd say Stunt. Plus the Stunt is what we saw on most of the troopers in the movie, except those rebel terrorists in disguise.

Don't give George any ideas! For me, the exact order is hard to nail because I'm just a big fanboy who loves them all. Right now I'd say it's ESB, ANH, ROTS, AOTC, ROTJ, TPM. Great middle with an uneven beginning and a weak ending.

If you get a chance to check out the show. It is an improvement, and doesn't have a lot of the issues that were in the movie. Most of the episodes can be watched online or via iTunes. Highly recommend the episode entitled "Rookies"

There are quite a few helmet build threads that should cover the how-to's and answer quite a few questions.

I'd heard that in some of the movies they had the handplates sewn on to the gloves, do you think that would be possible on these?

I sanded down and repainted my FX buttons, however I do have plans to replace them when finances improve.

The MRCE is a fun project to work on. I really have no skills whatsoever when it comes to all this, so I'm really pushing myself and I'm pretty happy with my results. Take it slow, read, read, read, read, measure, measure, measure, cut. Most of what you are looking for can be found here over in the For Sale section. A few of the over items will be at a local hardware store, fabric store, or sporting good store. I know I spent a lot of time at Jo-Ann Fabrics, Wal-Mart and Lowes. If you can't find it in a store, you can probably find a How-To on making or someone is selling one on here.

After sitting and staring at this thing for weeks now, I finally got around to working on it. Trimmed up the ears, aerators removed, sanding, sanding, sanding and more sanding. I just need to trim the brow, get new ear caps, aerators, paint and decals.
