  1. That could be. Did you allow it to cure fully?
  2. I wish you guys could see this in person. Clay's attention to detail combined with a cool costume and his size make it so that this thing takes names.
  3. Hot glue works ok for me. I prefer to use some E6000 though.
  4. There are easier kits to build with greater accuracy out of the box so to speak. That said, Someone here even worked a Rubies kit into EIB. FX can certainly be modified with butt-joining, reshaping the chest, etc. it really depends on how much of a challenge you are up for. If that is the option you can afford, or if you already have a kit, it can be done.
  5. I wouldn't depend solely on Zap a Gap as it can become brittle and break apart. Also, should any repair or adjustment be needed later you are unable to separate the pieces safely and easily.
  6. Do them all! Seriously, with your build RT-MOD would be good. I have a garrison-mate who wears his scout and makes all of us look ridiculous as he's so tall, so that's a fun option. The Royal Guard is great for your build as it would be most imposing with your stature, and the robes are custom made to fit.
  7. If that was in fact the Supreme edition, I've seen folks do some amazing things with those
  8. Thank-you Ryan. I was able to troop this one at Emerald City Comicon recently. It was great fun, and the jetpack held up fine. I was worried about it due to the weight of the ManofWar pack. No worries anymore though.
  9. and it loves you Scootch
  10. Any further work on this?
  11. Fire bad. Way to persevere.
  12. I love the way you look at your parts and say "nah, that's not good enough." It really is resulting in one of the best builds I have ever seen.
  13. If it makes you feel any better, I end up with glue-covered fingers with nearly every build. I wear gloves sometimes, particularly in building my astromech, but then I just glue parts of blue latex glove to my work.
  14. I'm sure this will prove helpful to many. I always love looking at CFO, so thanks on both counts.
  15. How does your kid like trooping in the TK? My son liked his clone, but it was tougher for him than his Jawa.
  16. Drink water. Don't be afraid of needing restroom breaks as you're more likely to sweat it out. Many of us install fans in our helmets to keep the lenses fog-free. That can help too. The Iowa heat and humidity in the summer can be tough, but outdoor troops with a breeze can feel great blowing up under the helmet.
  17. Busy summer: just the way I like it.
  18. Welcome. Be sure to stop here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/
  19. I look forward to seeing another great CFO come to life.
