  1. With all the drone paranoia, I worry about being shot down. Seriously though, I admit I can only fly for 27 seconds.
  2. This looks exactly like the book jacket illustration to me in terms of weathering. Amazing work!
  3. Name: Todd Maxfield-Matsumoto TKID: TK-6647 FISD Handle: Toddo Unit: Garrison Titan Armor: FX Helmet: Cap-W (handpainted details) Chestbox: Tambo Hoses: Targ Jetpack: ManofWar (modified) DC-15S: Woodchuck Boots: TKBoots Handplates: John Danter (modified) Height: 5'9" Weight: 155 lbs Thanks for taking a look.
  4. What else does Scootch need to do for his armor to be considered legitimate? I read this and think he's been pretty transparent and straight-forward.
  5. I found it very helpful and encouraging Eric. Even though one cannot achieve Centurion multiple times, I am taking your Centurion suggestions to heart and making adjustments to my armor.
  6. Thanks everyone. I lost a bunch of weight recently and need to look at some of my strapping and probably remove my ab shim. Along with that, my under armor isn't fitting as snug now, so I'll remedy that as well. It's an honor to have achieved EI three times now. I'm doing my best on my Skytrooper build in hopes of achieving EI number four. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I appreciate the feedback and always want my armor to look as good as can be.
  7. Name: Todd Maxfield-Matsumoto TKID: 6647 FISD Handle: Toddo Garrison: Titan Armor: T/MC Helmet: CAP-W Blaster: Hyperfirm Height: 5' 9" Weight: 155 lbs Boots: TK Boots Neck Seal: TK409 Holster: Darman Belt: Trooperbay Thanks for taking a look.
  8. I think this is a great idea Eric. I'm looking forward to seeing it work. Thanks!
  9. Nobody ships faster than Scootch. Brother's a madman. I haven't had to work on Scootch's buckets any more than any other helmet I have for what it's worth.
  10. I've seen Matt's armor in person, and he looks sharp. While the curve could be a tad sharper, it is definitely present as evidenced in the close-up photos. My .02 anyway.
  11. I love the progression Paul. Thanks for sharing those.
  12. Imagine a plastic army man's gun. Now imagine it really big. That's a Cushman. It is ok at best but will be extremely soft and lacking detail. Many have had difficulty getting these in a decent timeframe or at all. My personal experience is that I had to threaten legal action to receive a response even after months of silence. I eventually received my MG-34 and it was broken in half. There are better options such as Hyperfirm that will make you much happier IMHO.
  13. I love the photos and history Scootch. Thanks for sharing that.
  14. Same here. Scootch has always been a stand-up guy towards me and has produced great armor every time both afford-ably and quickly.
  15. My firehose isn't shiny. I think that's the hairspray that I sealed the weathering in with. I didn't sew anything other than the velcro. I just flattened like you have done. I did iron it though. That helped it keep the flattened shape. As for where I acquired it, the local F.D. had us remove firehose from my store a couple of years ago, so I scored some free.
  16. Our machine wouldn't handle the fire hose. We had to hand-sew it.
  17. I've trooped alongside Jedistar in his HWT a number of times, and he always not only looks great, but he seems comfortable. He also dresses himself much easier than I do with my TD, so I'll second his advice.
