  1. Actually... it is running a bit faster according to the exec time at the bottom of the page. Mail notifications... damn I think I can fix. Some folks are getting some server error pages too... stand by. -Eric
  2. Ok. Things are back up and running on the new server. Please let me know if anything is broke or weird. Aloha, -Eric
  3. I used brass paper clip thingys that are around 8mm in diameter with a dab of hot glue behind it. Get ye to staple's max stat. Or you could go to ace hardware and pick up some split rivets and washers. Aloha, -Eric
  4. It looks like the downtime is going to happen tomorrow 8/15.... not today. Probably starting around 1100 EDT for some amount of time... hopefully not to exceed 12 hours. Aloha, -Eric
  5. FISD could be unavailable for most of the day on or around August 14th. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. A note will be posted and updated on the forum homepage regarding the status of the unavailability as it progresses. Wish us luck as we move servers again. Aloha, -Eric
  6. Heh... You said boobs. I'm filing this one away for a rainy forum day. Looking sharp Sister. Aloha, -Eric
  7. Hmmm $410 for a deactivated sterling from that Gunbroker site listed in the first post. Also a folding stock for $45 and other random bits including a kit and a steel tube with template. Aloha, -Eric
  8. I've certainly used that very sentiment on occasion. Go out and recruit a few basketball teams to join the Legion and we'll make it true. Congrats again dude. Aloha, -Eric

Totally... that's his job (yes that's me)
  10. Some folks have a little pouch sewn into the back of their holster. I'll be darned if I can put my blaster away much less grab cards out of it. Go HWT and sew a pouch under your pauldron. Maybe ask your Vader to sew a pouch in his robe and pretend to give him a cuddle when you run out of cards. I bet some sort of dispenser in the inside of the top of your thigh would work. Really tho... Handlers are a godsend... I suggest bringing some sith cheerleaders with you. --------- Aloha, -Eric
  11. I've got two wide strips of elastic running veritcally between my chest and ab. It's the only way I can keep my chest in the right position. I made the elastic a bit shorter than I had originally measured. That creates a bit of tension to keep my chest out from under my neck and my ab from sitting too low. Aloha, -Eric
  12. Thanks for reminding me I need to get off my an impolite person and finish mine. -Eric
  13. AM shin tutorial: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=16608 Good luck! Aloha, -Eric
  14. Size and weight are a factor. If you're not a tall or wide dude I suggest the ATA which is more screen accurate than AM. You won't be trimming the thing down as much to fit you. Plus the chest plate on the ATA is much better looking than AM. Whatever you do please do not get an AM helmet. Bleh. Aloha, -Eric
  15. The heads should be 8mm but 9mm will look fine too. I have a couple sitting on my desk here that are 12mm-ish long and you'll need some sort of tool or apply a hammer to press the legs apart. Don't forget the washers. I used brass paper clip things of the right diameter and put a touch of hot glue on the backs after trimming the long thingys. Aloha, -Eric
  16. I promise that no one is shutting down any websites... and I have no idea why MEPD fell down and went boom this morning. To reiterate... donations are not mandatory... but it will help with your Imperial Karma. Aloha, -Eric
  17. Yep. I'm turning it on and off periodically. Thanks for your patience, -Eric
  18. Seeing a bunch of unintelligible crapola at the bottom of the forum? Yeah... that's me. I've near scratched a hole through my already bald scalp looking at it all. Aloha, -Eric
  19. The forum is back open to unregistered users and guests. Tapatalk is back too. Aloha, -Eric
  20. Tapatalk is back Enjoy, -Eric
  21. You make us tall troopers proud... Rob too probably. Nicely done my man. Aloha, -Eric
  22. I have Vader Dave bottons on my RT ab and they're quite nice but I regret using them. But you can make your own. They're basically just Chicago screws. The RT buttons are just as easy or hard to paint as any ab buttons on a screen derived ab. Please just paint them. It'll look so much better. Aloha, -Eric
  23. Nicely done. Well deserved.... And earned. Aloha, -Eric
  24. So many photoshop jockeys... so few graphic designers. But if you ever want your head placed on an inappropriately clothed body in a compromising position, FISD is well staffed (so to speak) for that.
  25. It's a rare occasion that anyone should take me seriously. -Eric
