  1. Congrats on being EIB two fiddy! Ok attachés.... get out there and bring us 50 more EIBs before 2013 gets here. Aloha, -Eric
  2. Maybe let's stick to telling Peter how sharp he looks in his Billhagian TM ok? If not I've got photoshop fired up... I can bring the facepalms all night long baby.
  3. I may be compelled to cede my "Detachment Director of Sardonicisms and Sarcasm" title to Mr. Hag (thanks for the giggle Bill)
  4. You make my job as the self appointed "Director of Detachment Sardonicisms and Sarcasm" very very easy. Our new motto should be: FISD, one of the few places on the interwebs where you can legitimately talk about crotches and butts as much as you want. Seeing as I have nothing substantive to add... I wish you Aloha and good luck trooper. -Eric
  5. Have you tried uploading the photos to a site like photobucket and linking them in your post with the little square icon with the tree in the formatting bar above? Aloha, -Eric
  6. Jim sells a ppt with a little surface mount switch like this one: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/97 I have a ton of them around. I had problems with the solder joint breaking more so than shorting out from finger sweat. I'll post my solution someday that involves hot glueing a paperclip for strain relief, two layers of adhesive heat shrink and way too much hot glue. Aloha, -Eric
  7. I use the same strip of Velcro on my kidney plate. I cut two slots in the belt side velcro to accommodate my thermal det clips. Not only does it stop it from slipping down, it keeps the belt from riding up amd making my butt plate stick out giving me TK booty. Aloha, -Eric
  8. Locitus beat me to it but: ---------- Please post photos of your newly filled rivet holes when you can. I'm curious how it looks. Aloha, -Eric
  9. What he said -E Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Head ye over to http://forum.mepd.net/ for all your dirty armor needs. Aloha, -Eric
  11. From now on please endeavor to use a larger font... I don't always have my reading glasses with me.
  12. Typically... I am.. but he was silly enough to put his birthday in Skype.
  13. Technically it is August 21 already in Sweden... so please join me in wishing our tireless Deployment Officer Mathias, and his androidesque attention to TK detail, a Happy Birthday before I space out and forget to post this tomorrow. Hau'oli lā hānau! -Eric
  14. Karin's awesomeness has been scientifically proven... by scientists. What's that Karin? if I eat ice cream covered in pesto on a leap day then monkeys will fly out of my butt? Sounds right to me. -Eric
  15. I am shocked and disappointed that I had no clue that it is spelled "behoove." I was sure I caught Igrid Wordy McWordenberg in a misspelling. Here's a thread that sums up why FISD sucks the least out of all forums in the interwebs: www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=19402 Aloha nui, -Eric
  16. Woo. Is Rob shipping buckets with hero ears and lenses? Should be interesting to see. Take lots of photos. Aloha, -Eric
  17. Snap webbing? Fabric snap things? Snap strips? Snap dakine? I stole the idea from Kevster maybe? -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Congrats! It's a surprisingly incredible feeling to finally be approved no? So... Where's your EIB application already? Sheesh. Aloha, -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Stuff happens when you live on the slopes of a volcano... Like putting a tiki curse on Carlos' postings... And dancing hula with Imperial flight attendants on the Death Star.
  20. Hmmm. Typically the file that holds all the data for the EIB page has had entries in it sequentially by order of approval date. Mathias... wanna do an EIB audit with me when the time zones align?
  21. In my RT-MOD build thread -Eric
  22. Chicago screws. Or you could pop rivet in some snaps the way Terry does his snap plates. That would look way better than chicago screws. It's a Billhag technique: Oh I was talking about things to tighten up the Centurion requirements that the detachment would need to vote on. You probably have hit the mark on most... or be grandmothered in if we changed them. More on that discussion another day. -Eric
  23. You're obviously not as broke or weird as Mathias. Mobile skin works on iPad for me. What sort of errors are you seeing Karin? -Eric
  24. Here is her criteria I used for recommending brass paper clip brads things But Ace Hardware split rivets quality for cheap and easily sourced too. There are about 3 or 4 other things for centurions that I think should come ahead of insisting on split rivets over brads... but we can take the gloves off in another forum about that Aloha, -Eric
