  1. If you have to leave the city and go out to Strong Island your best bet is Jones Beach. If its nice out that's a great place to make the day of it. Otherwise... you're better off staying and enjoying what the city has to offer. -Eric
  2. All about arms: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=13288 Aloha, -Eric
  3. All, I can't for the life of me remember where I posted about the knee pack reference galleries or I would have just added to that thread... but I also created a sniper knee gallery. Lucasfilm archive photos are included where applicable. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/ Aloha, -Eric Two examples: --------

  5. Yo. It depends on what makes you tall... are you long legged or long torso'd? If you're long legged and thin of waist ATA, TM etc will work without mods. You'll just need either TM's or RT's extra long shins to reduce large swaths of black undersuit showing in your legs. If you're of a longer or wider torso RT-MOD is the best option (AM is less screen accurate and more work to make fit in general). Aloha, -Eric
  6. I know I've said this before in other ways but what the hell is in the water in Indiana and how can we market it to every garrison? Nicely done and well earned the hard and meticulous way. Now start trooping. Aloha, -Eric
  7. On hey. You're approved. Congrats. That was easy! The things you miss when you are away for a day. Any significance to you TK ID? Aloha, -Eric
  8. Those are of course awesome but I wanted something for and from FISD itself. I think Rob came through with what I was looking for Aloha and thanks all, -Eric
  9. That everyone needs them and they're awesome. Neither is true unless you put the occasional dritz brand snap into thin fabric. They suck for a) the heavy use needed for a TK build for any other type of snap other than dritz. -Eric
  10. Thanks Rob... yeah regular snaps with plastic tabs using a hammer and anvil is preferable. I don't want to perpetuate the vario pliers myth any more than it already is. What's that? -Eric
  11. Does anyone have a thread showing plastic snap plates being made the regular way without rivets (Vern) or nylon webbing? Since Stutkatrooper's photos aren't available I'm looking for a howto or just the photos of regular snap plates being made. Aloha and thanks, -Eric
  12. For fine tooth comb's sake I would say your drop boxes need to come in a little and your thighs up a tad. I suggest trooping a few times before trimming anything Really? Your GML wouldn't accept these photos? Don't forget an action shot for EIB Looks like all your hard work has paid off. -E
  13. Get a life!
  14. Long term durability and reliability... Even if you only troop once a year. -Eric
  15. I should screw things up more often
  16. Fixed. Sorry about that. Silly me. -Eric
  17. Oy. Oops. I'll fix soon
  18. All, I just updated the tapatalk software for the FISD forums. Please let me know if you experience any issues. Aloha, -Eric
  19. Um. Wow. -E
  20. Where are all these badass Canadians coming from? Please share your secret peer pressure recipe with everyone. -Eric
  21. As expert of a marksman as a stormtrooper with a blaster. -Eric
  22. Possibly if you stretched it out some. The inner diameter of the droopy is smaller than an actual sterling. $20 for a coat hanger you're going to stretch out anyway seems spendy. -Eric
  23. Good luck wrestling that ammo pack into place. If/when you get the rivet bump to line up with the ridge the whole pack will be pointed and tilted up toward the sky or looking as if it's pointed at the floor. That thing is a f'n total slave Leia to get right. So dont't worry, It's not you man. I'm sorry to say that it won't be as easy as Darrek and Mathias say Aloha, -Eric
  24. Geez. I have no idea. A thread here somewheres maybe in one of the coat hanger links in my post. Not sure man. This page has a similar image. Other fine photos here. Aloha, -Eric
