OK here are all the "how to's" and tutorials for the MRCE and EFX PCR style helmets. NOTE: The EFX PCR is made from the same molds as the MRCE, it is just under a different brand name. These mod links will work for the EFX PCR as well. Modding the MRCE: ------ MRCE frown from HERO to STUNT": ----------- Make Your MRCE ears Thinner: --------

The best way to post/publish photos is to use a image hosting site like Photobucket.com or Flickr.com . This sites are free to use. Once you are signed up to one of these hosting sites, then you can upload your photos from you computer to their site. Once you have uploaded your photos to either Photobucket or Flickr, you with have a IMG code that you can post in any thread/post you do here. ANH Blaster curiosity...
RogueTrooper replied to TK5492's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
There are 7 variants in ANH of the E11. With this in mind, we needed to have a consistency/unformed look to the ANH E11 for the EI and now Centurion. This is why this greebles are a part of the ANH requirements. If...if... we do go to a prop replication level/award, then we may have all the variants. -

A few things other than it being a recast. 1. If fiberglass is not done properly, can result in a weak structure. You may not see it at first but over time and different temperatures will make it crack and or warp. 2. Fiberglass will be heavier to wear compared to a vacuum formed helmet. FWIW, I would look into one of the Vetted armor makers helmet kits:http://forum.whitear...showtopic=11538
-
Please check into the Vetted list: http://forum.whitear...showtopic=11538 Just remember these old saying: If it sounds to good to be true then it probably is. "Caveat emptor" (Let the buyer beware) Recasting is poodoo... ok, I made this one up just now, but it is true. Basically when you buy from a recaster, the odds are against you...You will not get quality nor the maker is not going to stand behind their product. You may thing you are saving money but 99.9999% by buying from someone like from ebay...But, you will end up starting over and spend more money by buying another kit for an armor maker with a good reputation and takes care of their customers.

Even though the INC and TKC are based on the ROTJ, you have to approach each costume as if they stand alone (as if some one has never seen or studied the ROTJ TK) This is one of the requirements that I want to see correct in the baseline. It is not the difficult nor costly to paint the AB buttons all black. The same thing apply about the center detail inverted. I wanted try and get it past to make it baseline instead of it being EI. *The ab plate has a button area are all black. Buttons are approximately 7/16" (11mm) in diameter. *Ab plate center detail shall have the ribs on the right side with one button below them, with four buttons vertically on the left of ribs. Note: the Ab center detail shall be inverted compared to the TK's in ANH/ESB. And keep "Left vertical row of buttons (beside the center detail) should contain five buttons", as centurion level. The reason for keeping this as centurion is none of the armor kits come stock with the extra button. This is why it is a "should" even at the Centurion level. This could change and be voted on to see majority wants it to be a should have for EI and a shall have for Centurion or stay to same...Let the vote decide.... There are more addendum's that I am working on for all the CRLs. I will be posting them soon for discussion, then vote. stay tuned........

TK-4395 ESB EIB status request[206][ATA]
RogueTrooper replied to TD-4395's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Congrats Tyler on getting your ESB EI !!!!!!!! Now get on the transport to Bespin.... Lord Vader needs your assistance on interrogating a few Rebels He just had dinner with....... -
Yeah if you look at the ESB TK , they are not sporting the black strap around the biceps like in ANH . Even though the armor/lids were reused from ANH, there were a few small details different about the ESB TKs other than the detail to the Lids , handplates, holster, and not have some of the grebbles on the E11 like they did on some of the variants in ANH.

Problem downloading profile picture
RogueTrooper replied to redbeard's topic in Forum Help & Support
Like Mason said, If is your Avatar pic, more than likely, it's the size.... Try uploading the pic to photobucket, and use the photobucket edit/re-sizing. It should work then... If you want to post pix, then use a free photo hosting site like photobucket. Use the IMG code, it's the best and ez way to post pix..... -
He did a great job...But if it was me, I would have cracked/broken/chipped more of the edges of the armor.

Looking good Paul. Great TKC!!!!!!!!!! but you need to get a lightsaber....
