Good news, my armour has been cleared. What a journey and massive thanks to all who has contributed on my thread (especially you Glen). It’s taken a while but never would have thought I would be able to build my own stormtrooper when I joined the 501st in 2021. The journey isn’t over though. Today I decide to start my journey in creating my ANH Stunt Stormtrooper armor kit. I am already in contact with the GML in my country and I am receiving all the necessary support and advice. I hope to soon be part of the ranks of Outpost Venezuela as an official member of the 501st Legion and continue adding to this noble cause and fascinating universe of Star Wars.

You are correct. They did make some interface changes last week and it does make you go through a few extra steps. I was in the middle of uploading a bunch of photos over a few days and they changed it midway through that. I was very confused for a second.

A very nice update indeed

Well, actually, D.O.s don't just follow the CRL. If you look at the reviews, we always say the following: "please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions." However, we never ask for a photo with a measurement scale to check that everything is OK, we only ask to correct the TD in the case that it is clear that something is not measuring what it should... We can also be wrong. We may think something is wrong and it's really ok... The CRL states(L1, Basic): -The total length is approximately 7.50" (190.5mm). -End caps are approximately .78" (20mm)in width. I think RS should not send the clips screwed on in the kits, because when you glue the end caps, it can happen as in your case. You could have glued them without inserting them all the way and you would have had the millimeters you needed... What glue did you use? If it is cyanoacrylate, it will be difficult to remove it...

[64] 03.02.2024 -- Retro Amour, Day 1 First troop of the year! I have no idea, just why I expected the event to be less boring this time around, but similar to last year there was minimal interest in us and it was a pretty small convention. However, we did not let that stop us from having fun. We took pictures with the few people who wanted to take pictures with us, listened to the frequent Ghostbusters song playing at the booth across, quite a few of us bought merchandise, and we simply used the time to catch up with each other. It was great seeing so many familiar faces and getting to troop with my former squad once more! [65] 04.02.2024 -- Retro Amour, Day 2 Not only were there fewer visitors on the second day, but also our white plastic got reduced to myself and a scout. Instead we had a group of Tuskens and quite a few pilots with us on Sunday. To pass the time, we did booth duty, patrolled the convention and stumbled across some retro games that had been set up. Can't believe I didn't find them the previous day -- they were really fun, even if I spectacularly lost at Mario Kart. DZ-88900, TB-88723 and I went to catch some fresh air at some point in the afternoon and almost caused a few cat accidents by standing next to the street on the sidewalk. Luckily, traffic was slow so nothing actually happened. In general a very quiet troop. Still, thank you to DZ-88900 for letting me stay at his place, so I could attend this troop in the first place! Troop 18 - Zavier's 8th Birthday (1/13/2024)

Finished the year and my 25th troop with the same event from last year, which had been my very first troop event. A bit light on attendance, which means we got a lot of silliness and photos. Some cool lighting courtesy of our local Jedi & ROTS Anakin. Sounding out some Santa stories. Group of white armors. The Tuskens make comfy chairs I hear. A little elvin trooper.

Johnstown Trick or Treat Street I have discovered a lot of small towns in northeast Colorado since joining the Mountain Garrison. This was another. A great day and first troop in my First Order TK kit. For the First Order! One of my favorite photos. Serving with Lt. Galek Trying to keep warm on a 27 degree (-2 celsius). Darn cold whatever your unit of measure. That is the advantage of the FOTK over the OTTK kit I discovered. So much warmer. This will not be something to brag about when it's summer time.

NoCo Down Syndrome Walk Beautiful cool day signaling the start of fall. I'm here for it! A great cause and a lot of smiles. One kid called the stormtroopers robots and like it when we waved to each other and high-fived. So we did that, a lot! Love this one. The only thing we're missing is a shore trooper! Go figure. :O

Full Body It was requested that I submit new full body shots with the modifications made. The shoulder bells were brought closer to the torso as shown in the front and back shots. The difference in the appearance of the belt height is due to the angle of the photograph compared to the photo showing the correction. Armor Details Corrected Shoulder Bells Shoulder bells were too far out as non-snapped end was glued-in-place. The reference image was provided for illustration. Installed Velcro in bells for adjustment as needed, see results in full body shots, above. Corrected Ab Plates Requirement for the large ab plate was that it have an obvious border edge, unrounded at the corners, that did not extend past the protruding base. The reference image below was provided. I prepared a new large button plate rather than try to correct the old one. It was suggested that the small ab button plate be trimmed as in the reference image. I did so. Corrected Belt Position The ammo belt needed to be brought up in the center as per the reference image. I utilized the recommended Velcro strategy to prevent sag in the center of the belt as shown below. Correction of the Sniper Plate The sniper plate had excess material at the top edge, which is not screen accurate; the following images provided suggested reference. I cut the sniper plate as indicated to conform to the suggested trim lines and reference images. Correction of the Thigh Ammo Belt The top edges were rounded, which is not screen accurate. The curved edge at the bottom was shown to not be screen accurate as the curve was too pronounced. Reference images were provided as below. Proportional analysis of the photo was done and a new ammo thigh belt was fashioned to conform to those ratios. The angle is moderately rounded and is not a straight cut. Correction of the Helmet For Centurion, it was suggested that I raise the brow on the helmet as shown below with the yellow markings. I have redone this part of the helmet as shown below. This suggestion made a significant impact on the look of the armor! Accessories Blaster Two additional photos taken with different lighting showing a gloss black handle with no weathering: Thanks to everyone who provided valuable feedback on the changes to make to achieve EIB and the improvements I would need to make to apply for Centurion.
