If any of you guys sees a Wookiee...send him our way. Do you gentlemen think these pictures would suffice for a EIB hero request? Wouldn't have to do another photo shoot then...armor is the same as EIB stunt anyways, and here you see the new helmet and handguards plus the BFG.

Ha, so Dan put these up already. Well, he said it all...bubble lenses are really not our cup of tea. Of the roughly 18-20 hours in costume, we wore our hero lids the first half hour or so on day one, and then we put them on again in the end of that weekend for the above photo shoot and a final trooping round through Legoland as the hero duo. It was a good idea to bring our stunt helmets as well. And yeah, we need a Chewie as our captive.

It's always great to see pics of unseen details of original helmets. Just now I'm building a ROTJ helmet replica, but I'm doin the rounded frown version.

According to the promo pics and most ANH screencaps I can find, I say that option C ist most accurate: ---------

It's a good thing Dan showed you all his strapping secrets. And generally...a good thing that he helped you build it all as accurate as it is now. Let's give credit where credit is due. A very sharp looking TD indeed, I've seen it up close and it turned out nice - not an awful lot to be done wrong with a TM suit to begin with, right?

I think I know which pic you mean - it's one of George, Mark and Harrison taking a break and discussing something, and Mark and Harrison have taken off their belts. The detail you see under there looks like a split on first sight, but it's only the shadow of the edge that is sculpted in the armor. I could only find a pic of the detail on Marks ab right now (the b/w pic in the lower right corner): All TE lineage armor has that abdominal edge as well, as has the TM abdomen.

Not without modding, I believe. Exactly like the MR CE helmet - since both are identical, EFX and MR.

Well Kevin, this is exciting. Let's see what comes from that! Exactly what we need in Europe - something similar to hyperfirm stuff.

Some armor makers supply hero ear pieces, but that would be one of the easier mods I suppose if you can't get a pre-vacformed part. With a little putty and sanding, and then painting the detail, it should be achievable. I do believe the numer of ear bumps are mandatory for both stunt or hero EIB?

The thread title suggests otherwise. Super glue should work I'm sure, for both or almost all flexible materials.

I suppose you use rubber gloves as a base and not leather or cloth material? You didn't say.

Well, 3-4 troops with mine (R2Dan's latex handguards) hold fine just with regular super glue. Absolutely no problems there, I actually think I'll never be able to rip them off in one piece ever again.

Yeah, SPACEBALLS style stunt doubles. Whoops, a little off topic perhaps? Hrm-hrm...well, fat troopers!
