  1. I already called him out on it saying it was kind of ironic Matt(TE) calling AA a liar and a thief....... Apparently two wrongs make a right in Matts eyes
  2. Loving the idea of a whole suit......I might have to tackle that one day........ROTJ zombie....hmmmmmm.......? Mason, That look brill mate....
  3. Cracking work Fabien! Loving the decals man, I want some now........
  4. Yep, as much as we all want a set if it were mine I would leave it as is or sell it as is...... I really cannot see that making copies would net more than selling this as a unique item? If I were to buy this and I cannot afford too, I wouldn't want copies everywhere. That's for sure. I still want one though
  5. there are a couple ways to do this 1. you could simply drip some super glue or other glue wait for it to set then paint over it. 2. simply spray the helmet and drip the paint you are using. Either way it is best to do this whilst painting the helmet or before.....
  6. Looking at the archive pics all the armour was trimmed quite different and the return also differs from set to set but as Mark says there was no return on the front of the forearms.......
  7. Your second link they are on ROTJ style which is upside down to ANH/ESB
  8. Yeah, The buttons are on ROTJ style which is the opposite to ANH....
  9. Yep that is my pic...... I just sent this.....: "Would you please refrain from using photo's that are not yours. I am referring to the photo of the armour laid out on the black paper on the floor of my garden. I manufacture and sell ROTJ armour cast from an original screen used suit and went to great lengths and expense to do so. I don't want to be associated with second rate inaccurate recasted fan sculpted armour. Mine is as accurate as it gets and is ROTJ not ANH. Thank you."
  10. I have toyed around with the idea of doing Carbon TX Troopers........I have so many samples of different colour ABS anything is possible......
  11. I believe that alot of the foam was glued in to the helmets, maybe the gaffer tape was a later addition?
  12. You should remove the tape whilst wet. At least I do.
  13. Sounds to me like you have overspray all over the pieces if it is a rough look. The paint is drying in the air before it hits the plastic and also you are over spraying onto already painted areas.
  14. Have you noticed how their forearms are trimmed very differently too.....?
  15. I am still waiting for my TE helmets 2 1/2 years later and payed Matt the shipping twice and he spent the money. He told me that he would ship my helmets the other day again but as usual I've heard nothing since telling me what I want to hear. I personally think 2 1/2 years is plenty time and quite frankly my patience has run out. I've resided to the fact that Matt will always come up with a excuse to cover the fact that he stole my money and has no intention of ever giving me my helmets. Very sad and if that's how he wants to live his life then I'm sure what "goes around, comes around" This hobby is a better place without people that steal from you.
  16. I spray mine with satin black and leave the inside un painted.
  17. Ha ha, I saw that as a kid in the cinema.....great fun!
  18. Looks really good mate. Can't wait to see it finished!
  19. WOW! Jesse those look fantastic mate. Defo interested...... What program are you using for that? It's a mac program.....right? I've just bought a small CNC and really need to get my head around a 3d program of sorts......
  20. Brad, That scan is my SFS project.....a while off yet but I'm working on the Brian R helmet moulds and hope to have a test pull this weekend with a bit of luck.......
  21. Thanks Karin. Yep I am working on the mould as we speak...... It should look really nice.... I'm not gonna post any pics yet as I really want to see what this thing looks like when pulled in plastic. I'm at the forming company on Sunday and will try and talk the guy into pulling a test pull then. I will also start a separate thread for it as I don't want to hijack this one any further as it's not about CFO, but VT.........
  22. The majority I believe are White inside.
  23. Hey Chris, Looking good my man! Can you show me how you connected the back piece? Is it the same as you did on the front?
