  1. Thanks everyone:)
  2. Thanks guys. I must be old school. I remember when threads were started for the birthday wishes. I didn't want to sound needy and I got many wishes yesterday but just missed the good old FISD wishes.
  3. I only ask as I got Birthday wishes from the RPF And the Propden but not my beloved FISD? I have noticed that the Birthday section has not had a post for sometime so maybe it's just not done anymore. Anyway I had a lovely time vac forming 3 suits of armour and about 18 helmets then went out for a meal with my twin brother, wife and daughter and a couple of friends. I stayed pretty sober but that will hopefully be a different story this weekend.
  4. Just back from the vac formers yesterday and I got an extra couple of bicep pieces and a new faceplate formed for you. I was entirely happy with the pieces I had in stock so got some new pieces formed for you. I will get them out to you as soon as I have a spare day to sit in the the courier...... Do I need all the same paper work printed out for your delivery again? Cheers, Mark.
  5. HI peeps Sorry it was my birthday yesterday so I had some time off I'll get back to this later when I get home from work and double check any dubious measurements for y'all. Cheers
  6. I use semi/satin gloss for the vocoder and frown and gloss on the ears.
  7. I put measurements of both with and without the lug. The lug is part of the receiver so if we want accurate dimensions to the original receiver then the whole piece needs that measurement.
  8. here, here!
  9. D is 170mm and C is 180mm But those measurements aren't to the end of the receiver pipe just to the end cap. To the end of the pipe C is 196mm and D is 186mm
  10. The bolt is 123.8 mm long It is 33mm In diameter
  11. I'd have to disagree with you there. Vac forming is not an easy thing to do. Not consistently and it varies with what materials you use. Pulling the odd piece, yes is easy but to pull a complete suit and get it right with no mistakes takes time and practice. Half the problem is in the mould design. simply recasting someones elses pull and forming that would be fairly easy as half the hard work has been done for you.
  12. Hmmm... Biceps. I'll get them out to with the face plate this week.
  13. some pics of the selector switch.
  14. I'll have a look when i get home.
  15. Cheers, I'll check it out. My brother uses illustrator.
  16. I try my best. I'm crap at photoshop. But hopefully you get the idea. How do I do curved lines and get the text to curve like in the photo of the trigger guard above? Some of the measurements might not add up as some are approximate. I'll leave that up to you.
  17. here you go..... Not sure why the trigger pic has the red square but you get the idea.....
  18. I can't wait to hear how much we raised in total........Great cause.....
  19. I've hd a brainwave! If you buy one if my posters I'll ship it to you in the correct OD pipe...... And what's more you get the pipe absolutely free http://whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=13059&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1 Shameful plug...........
  20. I think I ought to point something out............ That bow on the TD just isn't cannon!!! I love the way the main body parts completely change form and feel once the trim is applied......
  21. I have the barrel, so I'll get some shots and measurements.... Haven't had any time today.....
  22. Wow Rich, you're really racing through thIs build. I'm glad it goes together well. I spent quite a bit of time getting everything to match correctly. There are few bits here and there but it goes together pretty well compared to most.
  23. I'll try and get the bolt and inner barrel measured up and I have the trigger assembly and lots of other parts separate too. I'll get the photographed and measured as soon as I can.
