    Yes I have to force and flex my helmet to get it on and off. Also no room in there for silly comforts like a fan or hard hat liner (the top of the helmet sits on my head), but by golly it looks good.

    There is no standard in the movies. Some fan sources have come up with a ranks system though. So paint them how you like.

    Just a passing comment, but by requiring accurate ab buttons we eliminate almost all FX armor wearers. And on the other side of the coin, I know FX TK's that troop with MR E-11s as well. Regardless I think we should make our standards based on merit, and not on what some or most people have.

    Accurate doesn't have to be expensive. There is a guy on the bay that sells nice pvc/resin blasters for $75, and he has all 3 movie variants available. There are also resin kits that are available from various vendors.

    Plus fiberglass is heavy, and is hard to trim down. Plus grinding/trimming should be done with a respirator.

    Matt your overpaying for 8X10 then. I just had several printed up for $1.25 each, and this isn't at the local drugstore either. Also just a heads up, if the DVDs are made with a virus or nuker then that could land you in jail. Just coming from a guy with knowledge of cyber-crime .

    Mine yellowed also. White vinegar and water took care of most of it.

    Yours are not defective. The right thigh is smaller than the left. Just take a look at one of the threads about shimming and you should be all set.

    Their stuff is top notch, but they are very slow. If they quote you 2-3 months, it'll be ready in 7-9 months.

    Go check out bikerscout.net and they can tell you how to make one. There is alot of sewing involved though.

    I have this mic: --------- Most people I've gotten feedback from say they can turn their amp up to about 80% before they start to chirp. It could also be the sensitivity of the mic.

    Are you using an omni-directional or uni-directional mic? Make sure you have the uni-directional, or you will get a ton of feedback.
