  1. I use a Christmas tree storage bin. Think big rubbermaid with wheels and they will be half price in a few days .
  2. If they are allowed hopefully they will fall under TX designations. I just cant imagine anything other than clean armor for TKs.
  3. Ok. it seems the bug is back. Is it just me or is everyone else logging in all the time again.
  4. Sounds good to me. I love BF 1 & 2 and would love to play online.
  5. Yes they will remove your profile picture on the 501st website. Don't forget many garrison websites have member pictures and profiles also, so check your garrison's website as well. Good luck dealing the scum in your neck of the woods.
  6. Since parts are popping it's not a fusing glue which means it's 100% removable. The downside is the remedy will kill the glue on the entire helmet. Stick the helmet in the freezer overnight. You'll be able to take the helmet apart with ease in the morning, assuming it's not mostly apart already.
  7. I believe they are, but some sellers market them as Stormtrooper boots.
  8. Yes you can still get elite status if you have shims. Having properly fitting armor is just as important as accurate details.
  9. I'd recommend OOPS. I'll remove paint with ease, and won't hurt the abs. It's also what I use to clean my armor after events. Wal-mart used to carry it but the ones by me quit carrying it recently, but Lowes and Home Depot carry it. Whatever you use make sure it is acetone free.
  10. Considering they cost about as much as an accurate stormtrooper costume, I doubt anyone here has one. But you never know.
  11. You probably aren't going to get it off. It melts the surrounding abs and fuses the abs plastic and the cement together. But when you tried to sanding you only used 320 grit. Thats considered fine for wood, but is very course for plastic. Look in the automotive section of most department stored and get a variety of auto sandpapers. Try sanding a scrap piece with 400 then 800, then 1500 and polish it with novus. You shouldn't see the scratches then. If you do use some 2000 grit sandpaper and re-polish.
  12. What kind of cement were you using. Almost all of them can be removed fairly easily.
  13. I'm pretty sure I know a guy that has it done. He doesn't do forums so he probably didn't know there is a demand. I'll call him tonight and get the details.
  14. Just so everyone is on the same page, you have to be a 501st member to purchase 501st patches, coins, etc....
  15. What size? I'm looking to get a new pair. (sorry for the hijack guys)
  16. Bernard, that rocks . Congrats on being our first ROTJ elite trooper (I'm sure you'll get the nod).
  17. Yes I have to force and flex my helmet to get it on and off. Also no room in there for silly comforts like a fan or hard hat liner (the top of the helmet sits on my head), but by golly it looks good.
  18. There is no standard in the movies. Some fan sources have come up with a ranks system though. So paint them how you like.
  19. Just a passing comment, but by requiring accurate ab buttons we eliminate almost all FX armor wearers. And on the other side of the coin, I know FX TK's that troop with MR E-11s as well. Regardless I think we should make our standards based on merit, and not on what some or most people have.
  20. Accurate doesn't have to be expensive. There is a guy on the bay that sells nice pvc/resin blasters for $75, and he has all 3 movie variants available. There are also resin kits that are available from various vendors.
  21. Plus fiberglass is heavy, and is hard to trim down. Plus grinding/trimming should be done with a respirator.
