  1. Look at it this way, at least you wont have problems walking up stairs. You'll be able to keep the integrity in the rear portions of the legs. Most have to trim to allow flexibilty.
  2. At 6-1" you're not too tall. I troop with 2 TD's that are 6-2"+ and one of them is wearing an AP. When we did his TD suit we played with the spaces as much as possible. Make sure you maximize the mouting area of the knee plate and boxes on the right leg. You can fudge here and there. The center sandie is about 6-4" with an FX kit. The one to his left is about 6-2" in AP legs. Just moving stuff around can help. You'll have drop boxes to help cover the black, you can bump the lower legs up to the top of your boots and so on.
  3. I use the underarmor glove liners. They are really thing and light, and I don't sweat in them. I like them.
  4. Both. I had 3 inch shims on both side of the biceps and they still didn't fit. The Fx had a little more space. I need about 17".
  5. I think you'd fit as is. I'm 6-00 235 lbs muscular build and I wear AP. I do have to use FX arms, the Ap were just way too small.
  6. Only a dumb rookie would be green enough to contact someone wearing a stormtrooper suit.
  7. I had the pleasure of getting one of the first sets for sale when they came out. I spent many many hours assembling and figuring out which materials would work the best and still be strong. I was really impressed by how thick the suit was. Sadly, I sold it just shy of completion to fund an EpIII Vader suit. ---------
  8. Black leather boots to my knees, stretchy navy blue leggings -type breaches, navy blue shirt..............not the village people,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but close. I ride a BMW motorcycle all day, and write an occasional ticket.
  9. I have that set up. Are you sure you got it all hooked up correctly?
  10. I like at least one fan on the cut-out frown.
  11. I tried to slim mine down, but it's going to be challenging. the back holds all those batteries in place and the front holds the speaker in place. You'd have to place the speaker somewhere else and just keep the back half of the plastic. That would allow you to lose the front. those newtons are so loud, you might be able to fit it in the back plate. The volume shouoldn't be a problem. Modify the circle part to be covered by a small amount of mesh painted white and blow it out there.
  12. 5204 is a california vehicle code section for improper tabs. I needed something I could remember, and all the other Cali cops took all the cool code numbers.
  13. I wear underarmor glove liners. They are tight and very thin. The logo is covered by the hand armor.
  14. I used hot glue, but dont let it get too hot, it'll start to soften the plastic. Keep a stream of cold water handy. The amp works OK with the speakers, Decent sound, but it wont blow doors open with volume, good enough for most trooping. the Triktoys amp is just a Radio shack amp that's been taken out fo it's box. If you dont want to do the work, you can buy it from them. I disassembled their mic and shortened the wire. I also have their sound module, but I'm not using it. Mine is starting to work intermittently, so I let it out all together. standard RS fan with 9 volt. I also just put in a squirrel fan along the left tube. decent airflow.
