  1. Hi Chris, Blood, Guts and Heart. Cordial relationship, honesty and compassion is most important. And thumbs up to you for giving away free lids to kids as well. Just to let you know that I respect and appreciate the efforts that you and the troopers put in to charity and bringing joy to kids and others, in their troopings. And the satisfaction that Tks derived from wearing the good quality armor, this satisfaction that trooper get is a reward for their trooping efforts to bring joy to others. Risking flak, but, bro, I am with you from the other side of earth. And I understand the stance that this board takes.... because the subject of casting tk armor is gray and open to differed opinions..... which has been going on for ages. IMO, the admin and guys here rather focus the main efforts of this board on the here and now, trooping, bonding and charity. Life is short and unpredictable, make full use of every moment given. Whenever I see arguments... here a story I heard over the radio in china... a real life story: "A chinese guy left his home town province to work in the capital city. Before he left home that day, he had an argument with his dad who dotes on him, due to a difference of opinion. While he was working in the capital; after sometime he began to regret arguing with his dad and saying hurtful words out of spite. And he wanted to make amendments.... he could have picked up the phone and apologise to his dad, but was reserved because of pride and ego. Therefore, he delayed and saved his apologies for a festive season where majority of chinese workers will return home for visits. Afew days before the festive season, he went shopping for things his dad loved but never had. He planned to apologise to his dad personally, and give him these gifts. So came the day he battled the crowd at the train station and boarded the train, heading home. Three hours more and he will be home.... then he received a call at his handphone.... his sister informed him that his dad had just passed away. This guy never stopped regretting and kept wondering, what was his dad emotions and thoughts before passing...." Peace and take care
  2. Maybe you can try Tamiya metal primer (clear and thin) and Pure White spray paint in a can. They are lacquer base.
  3. Thank you for the advice, I tried it several times on different occasions, didn't work. <_< Thank you and appreciate the headsup.
  4. Anyone knows how to log on to the clonetroopers website? I was registered there but can't log on now. Also contacted site admin but no response from them for more than a week now. Peace
  5. Hi, Can anyone help contact him and get him to pm me? I have not been able to login over at the clonetroopers after the server was down. Thank you in advance.
  6. Nice and clean schematics on the inside. On the ventilation, I was toying with the idea of installing two fans which I purchase over at ebay, one on each side of the frown. One suck and one blow to circulate the air in the lid.
  7. Good luck and godspeed on your endeavour, that you will treasure the lid that holds your sweat and hopefully not blood (ouch!) Remember; don't over cut the ear caps (don't follow the vac form guidelines, leave at least 2-3cm of excess then sand down) just my 2 cents!!!!!! Peace
  8. Hi, Looks like you have over cut the right ear cap by following the vacform lines, like I have . I came up with a solution a few weeks ago... but hadn't time to compile and post. Otherwise this could have been avoided. Now my right ear cap is in the freezer for drying and harding. I will try to post the how to correct the over cut. But my eyes are just recovering from an surgical operation. Nice and fast build.
  9. Noble thing to do. I would like to do that, it is wealth to one's soul. No money can buy that kind of wholesome feeling that you are helping the needy without the desire for recognition or acolades. Your heart and character in this is my favourite
  10. A very nice, well proportionate and tight fitting assembly.
  11. Looks good steve, I wish I have your speed.
  12. Thanks! I will give it a try
  13. This explains why we forward jokes. Friends A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them. After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side. When he was close enough, he called out, "Excuse me, where are we?" "This is Heaven, sir," the man answered. "Wow! Would you happen to have some water?" the man asked. "Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up." T he man gestured, and the gate began to open. "Can my friend," gesturing toward his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler asked. I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets." The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog. After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book. "Excuse me!" he called to the man. "Do you have any water?" "Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in." "How about my friend here?" the traveler gestured to the dog. "There's a bowl by the pump." They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog. When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree. What do you call this place?" the traveler asked. "This is Heaven," he answered. "Well, that's confusing," the traveler said. "The man down the road said that was Heaven, too." "Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell." "Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?" "No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind." Soooo... Sometimes, we wonder why friends keep forwarding jokes to us without writing a word. Maybe this will explain. When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do? You forward jokes. When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep contact, you forward jokes. When you have something to say, but don't know what, and don't know how, you forward jokes. Also to let you know that you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for, guess what you get? A forwarded joke. So, next time if you get a joke, don't think that you've been sent just another forwarded joke, but that you've been thought of today and your friend on the other end of your computer wanted to send you a smile. You are all welcome @ my water bowl anytime !
