  1. I double checked, his name is Kieth. I posted Kent in my origional post, which I edited.
  2. There is also a guy named Keith who makes them. I believe he is on the MEPD and RPF forums with the username Keith. If I'm mistaken someone please let me know.
  3. I just got my FX armor together, although the kit came with an AP helmet. If money were no object I'd get a TM in a heartbeat.
  4. That project never made it off the ground. I know alot of people were looking forward to it.
  5. I hope your not spending $699 on FX armor. Also get the nomex flight gloves that are made in the USA. They look the same, cost a little more, but are much more durable.
  6. Also the RT comes pretrimmed, where the AP has to be trimmed.
  7. Just a heads up, the second one is only on a 26 inch bolt, but if you go with a lighter weight thats heavier than dickblick you can get 60 inches. The first one is on a 72 inch bolt. EDIT: I eneded up ordering this one, it's the same weight as the extra extra heavy from DickBlick: ------------ If you order is under $10 you can get $2 econo shipping. If I went with one a little heavier it would have cost $9.50 to ship it. Dick Blick is $13/yard and charges $8 to ship the exact same thing.
  8. Well I got some oops today, it's naptha based not acetone. It just made the semi-dry glue sticky all over again. Thanks to my wife reading parenting magazine Q&A I got the solution. Hand lotion..................who would of thought. I put some lotion on my hands and lightly rubed it over the velco adhesive and let it dry. Worked like a charm.
  9. Acetone is the active ingrediant it goo gone, and too much can melt the plastic backing of the velcro. Keep in mind I'm not trying to remove the velcro just the sticky from the backside where it touches my undersuit.
  10. I'm working on my armor and am having a problem. In a few spots the velcro backing points towards the inside. I figured the adhesive would dry out, but after 5 days it's still sticky. I've also tried rubbing it down with acetone but that didn't work either. Any suggestions?
  11. Just a suggestion. If Krylon H2O white is a color match to the Fusion, go with the H2O. It has a much glossier finish to the point it's reflective. An example of the finish can be seen here: http://www.sithtrainingtemple.com/phpBB2/v...opic.php?t=1558
  12. Before the update I always stayed logged in from one day to the next. Since the update I have to login about twice a day. Yes I remember to make sure the remember me box is checked, and I haven't changed any cookie settings. Anyone else having this problem?
  13. I found another couple possible sources: -------------- Each company carries lighter weight material, I just posted the link for the heaviest they carry. Let me know what you think
  14. Also Olfa makes the best hobby knives on the planet, well worth the price. If you have one they make a replacement blade that is a mini saw. It's very thin and crazy sharp. It cut the end off my hasbro blaster like a hot knife through butter. Just my 2 cents.
  15. Thats what I thought till I had my son. Never been happier .
  16. Well I've looked locally and most places call heavy duck cloth "canvas" . Thing is I live in a major metropolitan area, so you would think I would be able to find it.
  17. Has anyone tries tarp canvas for their belts? I found a place that has "natural" color in 3 weights (10, 12 ,17 ounce). ----------- Anyone know what weight was used in the movies, or which one is best for trooping? Thanks
  18. Stomper has a thread in the sale trade area for a run of excellent resin blasters.
  19. I know in ESB they had stunt and hero variations, don't know about ANH. I finally found the link I couldn't find before to some good ESB blaster shots. RPF --------
  20. Here are some great picture of the RTOJ E-11. RPF -------
  21. Nice to have a recomendation on boots . Now if they just made them big enough for me . Hopefully the MC 12s I bought are going to be big enough, or maybe I can get them stretched out.
