  1. Excellent tutorial. Thanks
  2. Also Olfa makes the best hobby knives on the planet, well worth the price. If you have one they make a replacement blade that is a mini saw. It's very thin and crazy sharp. It cut the end off my hasbro blaster like a hot knife through butter. Just my 2 cents.
  3. Thats what I thought till I had my son. Never been happier .
  4. Well I've looked locally and most places call heavy duck cloth "canvas" . Thing is I live in a major metropolitan area, so you would think I would be able to find it.
  5. Has anyone tries tarp canvas for their belts? I found a place that has "natural" color in 3 weights (10, 12 ,17 ounce). ----------- Anyone know what weight was used in the movies, or which one is best for trooping? Thanks
  6. Truer words were never spoken.
  7. Stomper has a thread in the sale trade area for a run of excellent resin blasters.
  8. I know in ESB they had stunt and hero variations, don't know about ANH. I finally found the link I couldn't find before to some good ESB blaster shots. RPF --------
  9. Here are some great picture of the RTOJ E-11. RPF -------
  10. Nice to have a recomendation on boots . Now if they just made them big enough for me . Hopefully the MC 12s I bought are going to be big enough, or maybe I can get them stretched out.
  11. You can find Jodhpur boots on ebay for less, but the sizes may be an issue. The links are definatly a good resource to reference.
  12. That 3 pennies worth of thickness all the way around increases the circumfrence about 1.5 inches, assuming my geometry is right. You can always do it more than once if you need to. It's better to take too little than too much.
  13. I'm gonna have to do this on mine after trying on a friends. I read that some people make a trimming guide by glueing together a quarter, 3 pennies and a razor blade. Basically the quarter goes around the inside edge, the pennies are the spacers, and the razor scores a new line that is exactly the same outline as the origional. You just have to make sure you get trim longer than "standard".
  14. Can you grant access/ give invitataions?
  15. You tease............lookin good.
  16. Just to add onto what Paul is saying. A perfect example of the size vs accuracy is the ANHv2. It's an oversized bucket, but still looks very accurate. I don't think anyone is going to argue that it souldn't be considered based on size.
  17. Looks good. Thanks for all the hard work Paul.
  18. Thats the same logo as before. I thought the banner wasn't going to cover the blaster muzzles
  19. Any update on a finished logo?
  20. I don't know if I'm old enough to hear about things like that. But babies of that helmet would be great.
  21. No one can spend too much time on Star Wars. Get your family envolved so they can join you on the forums .
  22. Thats awsome. (we need a drooling smiley)
  23. Ralph Maquarie stormtrooper concept, looks good. I must have missed it on the RPF, I've only seen the concept Vader thread. Got a link?
  24. I know it's kinds late in the process to be posting ideas but here I go. After watching all the TK scenes of ANH in slow motion recently to look for some details, I noticed a few troopers had small gaps in their sides, 1/2 inch inch or less. Also I believe Paul posted that he saw some folks at the Rose Parade that had leather belts. I know canvas is screen accurate, but I think leather looks really good also. Has there been any discuession about leather? And I personally like the idea of the holster being attached to the belt from behind. Just my 2 cents
  25. If the origional is a photoshop file I might be able to pull it off.
