I figure the 501st forums don't use a stronghold cookie and they are fairly secure. On the flipside anyone who uses multiple computers may forget to logout if someone else uses them.

Nope, I only use one computer. I check the site several time a day and generally have to login twice daily.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the price of RT armor has been steadily going up over the last 18 months. I personally think it's supply and demand. He has a several month waiting list, why not raise prices and see what the market will bare, if it holds raise them again. I'm not knocking the RT armor, I was planning on getting it. But when I got the cash and RT send me the current prices, they were once again just out of reach.

My understanding of costume requirments is that if they change, they only apply to new members. Case in point the Rubies Supreme Vader. There were some folks approved with an out of a box inaccurate costume, that was later deemed unacceptable unless modified/upgraded. They didn't go back and remove the Rubies Vaders, they just didn't allow any more in. If the FX became unacceptable, that would hurt the legon IMO unless one of the other armor makers decided to drop their prices, or a new armor maker entered the scene.

I think it's a reversed picture. Look at the ab buttons, you can just see the edge of the second one down showing that it's a mirror image.

I just got my FX armor together, although the kit came with an AP helmet. If money were no object I'd get a TM in a heartbeat.

That project never made it off the ground. I know alot of people were looking forward to it.

I hope your not spending $699 on FX armor. Also get the nomex flight gloves that are made in the USA. They look the same, cost a little more, but are much more durable.

Also the RT comes pretrimmed, where the AP has to be trimmed.

Just a heads up, the second one is only on a 26 inch bolt, but if you go with a lighter weight thats heavier than dickblick you can get 60 inches. The first one is on a 72 inch bolt. EDIT: I eneded up ordering this one, it's the same weight as the extra extra heavy from DickBlick: ------------ If you order is under $10 you can get $2 econo shipping. If I went with one a little heavier it would have cost $9.50 to ship it. Dick Blick is $13/yard and charges $8 to ship the exact same thing.

Well I got some oops today, it's naptha based not acetone. It just made the semi-dry glue sticky all over again. Thanks to my wife reading parenting magazine Q&A I got the solution. Hand lotion..................who would of thought. I put some lotion on my hands and lightly rubed it over the velco adhesive and let it dry. Worked like a charm.

Acetone is the active ingrediant it goo gone, and too much can melt the plastic backing of the velcro. Keep in mind I'm not trying to remove the velcro just the sticky from the backside where it touches my undersuit.

I'm working on my armor and am having a problem. In a few spots the velcro backing points towards the inside. I figured the adhesive would dry out, but after 5 days it's still sticky. I've also tried rubbing it down with acetone but that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

Before the update I always stayed logged in from one day to the next. Since the update I have to login about twice a day. Yes I remember to make sure the remember me box is checked, and I haven't changed any cookie settings. Anyone else having this problem?
