  1. Mr. Clean magic erasers are great. They work on painted armor too. While I like a little scuff and wear on my armor, some things you have to clean off. A clone bumped me at an event and I had a 3 inch blue streak on my shoulder bell for example.
  2. Great build, can't wait to see it approved.
  3. Read above the pics, Rip says they are mirror shots.
  4. Krylon H2O runs like crazy.
  5. Contact your local piano tuner, they should have piano wire on hand.
  6. Pete gave me the OK long ago to do just that.
  7. Here is the best TM build guide I know of:
  8. You may want to email or PM Volumino, he hasn't been on the FISD in seven months.
  9. To the best of my knowledge they are not shipping yet.
  10. The plastic should take the heat with no problem. Depending on the adhesive you use to assemble the armor and strapping setup it many not. Storing your costume in a hot car for a little while is one thing, but I agree with what's been posted that the majority of the time it should be indoors.
  11. Happy B-day Mason.
  12. Ouch, most RC car shops sell them for $5-$7.
  13. The one on the right looks like the current ATA trim.
  14. Auto paint stores can match and make a spray paint can for you for about $12 so you can get the exact shade of red. Just an idea.
  15. Happy B-day boss. :dancing-trooper:
  16. Spray paint or enamel model paint on the details?
  17. WOW what an attention to detail. Congrats on Centurion.
  18. Great looking suit Varg. Congrats.
  19. You couldn't wear it for your 501st profile pictures or at canon events, but there shouldn't be a problem for non-canon events which most Legion events are.
  20. It's an honor to be on staff with you Terry, your the model trooper for the Legion.
  21. Congrats Mathias, you have a great looking rig.
  22. Congrats Stefan, your armor looks great.
  23. Congrats Juan, you have a great looking kit.
  24. When looking you want an open face balaclava. That way you can see and breath with ease.
  25. Actually that's personal preference, the originals didn't have any frown mesh. I have it in my trooping helmet though.
