  1. Pinned the topic. Hopefully people will get what they paid for. I know a garrison mate drove to his place a long while back to pick up an order since he was local. Maybe he can contact him and get an update.
  2. The seller is the original organizer and seller of the first two runs of FISD silver coins and the only run of gold coins. He is gone from the Legion and burned all his bridges on the way out.
  3. Contact the Arkansas squad of the Star Garrison. Memphis is pretty close, and they love to troop.
  4. Man that's a party, and a great looking cake to top it off. Makes me look forward to this summer when my son turns six.
  5. Pat, you never cease to entertain and you look darn good doing it.
  6. Actually the ab plate did get a sharpness and detail overhaul, just like the back plate. The rest of the kit is sharper using most of the original molds from before.
  7. You can also get a UV blocking film to go on the windows from any home improvement center as well. Most are rated for 3-5 years before breaking down.
  8. That's interesting considering the TSA has nothing to do with packages coming into the US. An alternative to not shipping to the US could be to find someone in Canada to forward the packages for you. Shipping is very reasonable between the US and Canada.
  9. According to the US Customs, they aren't the ones rejecting the packages, it's the other country's postal systems imposing restrictions that don't exist or are falling fault to rumor.
  10. OK I called USPS international about this, and they refereed me to US Customs. Talked to a very nice lady there and she said there are no new limits or embargoes for packages coming into the US, and that it this is a rumor that they are aware of that is circulating in some countries postal systems. The limits I posted above are for the postal system, carrier services can go to 75lbs I believe.
  11. I'm in the US. Anyone can send packages to the US that are over 500g, I believe the max is 20 lbs (7.8 Kg) for priority.
  12. Must me a miscommunication, I just checked with the USPS and this 500g restriction doesn't exist. There is a restriction that everything over 4lbs (1.8Kg) and/or one cubic foot has to go international priority which would be about $41 thanks to rate increases, it was $33 before Jan 1st.
  13. Well I have to thank Kevin at OSCS for giving me the nudge and some guidance to start overhauling and sharpening molds. It's a start, but I still have much more to do. I've got the cleft penciled in, but just haven't carved it out yet. Yes it the rectangle needs to be made taller to be accurate and accommodate the button strip while letting the cleft underneath still be seen. Just like the strip on top of the middle button box needs to be extended and fade into the ab plate. All in due time.
  14. Should be. SA and AM/FX are the same person.
  15. I'll still be making HIPS armor for those who want it. I'm also working on getting the same ABS that the FX/AM kits are made from to offer upgrade helmets that are a perfect color match.
  16. Outstanding work, you have some great metal skills.
  17. I always offer spare/replacement parts. Email me at ataworks@yahoo.com for pricing. Thanks
  18. I have the strip on the vertical rectangle penciled in, I just haven't carved it out yet. It'll be done though. Yes it'll be offered in black ABS, just not immediately unless you want nasty haircell ABS which I can get all the time. I'll take care of my TX bothers and sisters as well. Of course it's the lest expensive ABS armor offered ever. It's ATA .
  19. Well this has been a 10 month project getting a new vac table built, and working through color samples to find the correct custom cream/off white color ABS, which is 80 gauge. If you need more details about the kit email me at ataworks@yahoo.com, please no PMs I get enough with FISD and Legion stuff. Sorry for the low quality pics. I'll take better ones this weekend and pictures of all the parts. Somehow forming the first suit I forget the knee plate. ABS vs HIPS
  20. This should answer most of your questions. ------------
  21. Warning to all FISD detachment members re: Jedislayer5000 / Brandon from Victoria BC Canada A few weeks ago, a serious offense took place on FISD. A "new" member named "Charles1978" had posted an AP armor set for sale on Dec. 31st 2010. Several FISD members had "purchased" this armor, when in fact the armor DID NOT exist. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=13880 The thread was locked on January 1st, 2011 when it was confirmed that several people had paid for the same armor, and multiple payments were accepted by the seller even though it was only advertised that 1 set of armor was available (when really nothing was for sale). FISD staff has uncovered evidence that user Charles1978 is the same person or is affiliated with Jedislayer5000 / Brandon. Other sock puppet accounts that have been created and may be affiliated with Jedislayer5000 / Brandon are: Charles1978, Stunt_Gungan, Skywalker555, and possibly others. FISD staff have spent many hours over the past 2 weeks doing a comprehensive investigation to uncover solid evidence in this transgression. Only after this investigation and deliberation was completed have we decided that these user accounts / members should be permanently BANNED. Jedislayer5000 / Brandon has also been banned on MEPD, as well as his home garrison in western Canada - Badlands Garrison. As well, 501st Legion Command has been informed of this incident. FISD staff have waited until the disputes were settled on Paypal and the buyers who paid for the scam were refunded their payments, before communicating the conclusion to Jedislayer5000 / Brandon as well as communicating the resolution here. There was also overwhelming evidence that the scam did take place, including messages to and from the seller to buyers, payment statements, filed Paypal disputes, etc. FISD staff have also been openly communicating with Jedislayer5000 / Brandon to help try and resolve this matter, but far too much damage has been done to the community. We firmly believe that it is our duty to protect detachment members and that such scams, acts of fraud and dishonesty will not be tolerated on FISD. As stated in the buy and sell forums: The admin staff are NOT responsible for any transaction on this forum. We ARE here to mediate if there is a problem. FISD rules and guidelines also state that sock puppet accounts are not allowed. We encourage users old and new to review the FISD rules and guidelines. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=3055 In short: your FISD account is YOUR responsibility. Whether you or someone in your household uses your computer in the act of exploiting other detachment members, the responsibility still lies on YOU as an FISD member to rectify the situation IMMEDIATELY. Going forward, we will also make some revisions and changes to the forum to better protect our members. While we try to do our best, please be aware of who you are purchasing from, what you are purchasing, etc. As the old saying goes - If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If you have any questions, please ask - but keep in mind that personal information will be confidential. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. FISD staff.
  22. I think most of these students are "alliterate". Funny yet sad.
  23. I thought more suits had the flower rivets, was it just one suit?
  24. Great tutorial John, pinned it so it's easy for everyone to find.
