  1. WOW, that's an insane blaster. You have mad skills sir,
  2. HWT EIB approved. There are no antennas on any of the game references, which is why I asked.
  3. How about the Matt Busch trooper project helmet:
  4. I looked over the thread this morning, and wanted a little time to reflect on it. The only two things that could be a issue are the D-ring looks like it's going to fall off (literally) and the seam on the helmet chin could be better. I'm not sure what kind of silicone you used on the seam, but DAP makes a sandable/paintable white silicone based caulk. I've used it on other projects and it works well. Another alternative is Apoxie Sculpt super white. You apply it and then smooth it out with a wet finger. It will literally smooth to a glass finish with a little time and a wet finger.
  5. EIB approved. Great looking kit trooper.
  6. Looks like an easy pass. The only missing detail ship is the mic tips and you are good to go.
  7. Joe, When you do share the source of the boots please start your own boot thread for the info. Thanks
  8. Well done trooper, EIB approved....again.
  9. Looks good. Just need a picture of the right side of your blaster, and your mic tips and you are all set.
  10. The new helmet looks great. Thanks for the update.
  11. The mods look good. EIB approved.
  12. I've been offline for a little while. Here is a long over due "EIB approved". Nice job trooper.
  13. The issues I see are: the detonator needs to be gray, the left side gap on the ab/kidney plate needs to be closed, the knee plate rivets need to be painted white, and the others are correct that the brow trim goes over the edge of the cap and back not on it. You're off to a great start, just a few tweaks and you will be EIB.
  14. Gang, this is a history thread. Feel free to create your own thread showing off your new goodies. Thanks
  15. You can find great stormtrooper boots here: http://tkboots.com/
  16. Along with the shoulder strap and back plate issue, we need a closeup of your mic tips. You're almost there.
  17. Congrats Brian, and thanks for all that you do for the FISD.
  18. Stunning armor Mark, I love the stepped off screen look.
  19. Happy B-day Pete.
  20. 3M makes polishing pads for automotive paint that are 2-3 inches in diameter and less than a quarter inch thick. They also fit any standard angle grinder. I love mine and have found all sorts of uses for them, but have never tried polishing HIPS with them.
  21. Great looking setup Chris, can't wait to see more.
  22. OK here you go. I weighed my blasters this morning. Unmodded Hasbro: 13oz Hyperfirm: 1lb 8oz Resin E-11 with a foam core: 2 lb 13 oz
