  1. I know a guy who makes kids clone armor. There is also an older thread on the MEPD about how to make it out of craft foam.
  2. Those look pretty good. I know you can get the Woodstick Jodhpur boots for $72 and that includes international shipping and the poor $ to £ exchange rate. The come in black too. ---------
  3. No one is making ROTJ helmets, so I think you'd do well. BTW your Phase 1 clone bucket looks great.
  4. The holster is from the run i just picked up Monday night. The straps are black since everyone wants the natural ones, and I generally go for idealized screen accurate. If there is a second run, I'll have one of each. Yes I have a tripod and a camera with a timer. The catch is getting clear shots since it focuses and locks before you walk in front of it.
  5. I've got all the elite requirements done, now I just have to sweet talk the wife into taking pictures of me in armor again. AP helmet (all hand painted details except the tube stripes), FX armor, MR resin copy blaster, and MC boots. Here are the detail shots.
  6. Welcome to the FISD. Looks like your off to a good start.
  7. That is the way they were in the movie. Other helmets corrected the error since I believe it was a production flaw. If you want to correct it you can heat the plastic and bend it in to match the left eye.
  8. I know I've posted this all over the forums. Plus here are a couple links from searching for thighs. -----
  9. My official answer as DL is..................I have no idea. Sorry.
  10. Wow Paul, that sucks. Here is to better luck working on armor
  11. The greeblies are optional for and elite ESB blaster.
  12. The reason may be the FX biceps are shorter than the accurate ones.
  13. Based on my research the greeblies are only on the promo blasters. The screen used ones didn't have the greeblies.
  14. Fixed, thanks for the heads up.
  15. These are the ones I use. The width is more accurate, but you have to work with or cut a hair off the bottom. -----
  16. The counter looks great. You'll have a top notch blaster in no time.
  17. Great work, it looks much better. The ears are the one detail that really bothers me, and now there is a solution.
  18. Nice job Brad . Looks like your going to be elite #20. We'll eventually need a clear action shot as the elite pics are going to get lager one of these days. With regards to thighs, the FX thighs do take some extra work to trim up, with or without a shim. The left is bigger at the bottom than the top so you have to cut a wedge to tighten up the bottom. Then you put in you shim to open it up. I guess you could also have a wedged shaped shim, so only the top gets expanded and the bottom gets none.
  19. Actually this isn't an official vote. Mainly because it's open to everyone and elite standards are voted on by 501st TKs only.
  20. Nothing wrong with that. Technically there aren't any shiny stickers on the detenator .
  21. Yes the FX armor is acceptable for elite.
  22. Christmas in April.
  23. That is on the staff to-do list, it just hasn't been done yet. My goal is to have the popup window with an elite profile similar to what the MEPD does.
  24. Looks like you have elite covered. Darn nice blaster BTW. Only thing you may want to do in the future is trim the left thigh so the taper matches the right. It's easy as you just cut out a wedge with several inches coming off the bottom and almost none at the top.
