  1. It's not unusual to wait for Rob to answer. His main job keeps him busy. But he's good at getting to everyone. Eventually
  2. Good Luck on your first Troop! You're gonna love it!!! I'm not crying. You're crying!
  3. Nothing more to add that fellow Troopers haven't noticed. I see you have Walts kit. He now makes a bigger set of bells that should help you there. Thanks for running through the gauntlet and letting your fellow Friends help point you in the right direction. You're almost there!
  4. You could use AM or TM and RT-MOD. All would work. I have RT because he makes his a bit bigger in scale. I think his is the bigger chestpiece of the makers. With all three you can't go wrong. Great makers. Good Luck Future Trooper!
  5. Great job! For 6'3 you're wearing that well! As for the back/kidney gap I dont see you lowering back. it looks maxed out. You might be able to lift your buttplate a bit but in the end your really 6 good inches taller then it was designed for. And wearing it well. Try shortening straps a little and see how it goes. Easy pass for basic and looking ready for EIB from what I see. Good Luck Future Trooper!
  6. Congratulations! Have fun out there!
  7. Congratulations! Looking foward to seeing your Heavy come together! E-11 is ok to use, but you are a Heavy Weapons Trooper for a reason Good Luck with your EIB application!
  8. Glad to hear you're still on track! Note: drop boxes are no longer painted grey. They should be white. Good Luck and looking foward to some pictures!
  9. You could seperate cod and Ab and add a shim with belt hiding the seam also. I have RT Mod and it can take time to get a response from Rob. He's a busy guy who travels a lot. But it's a great set if you end up having to go with a new kit. You'll get there Trooper!
  10. Congratulations Trooper! Have fun out there!
  11. Looking Sharp!
  12. I like the old white T-shirt cut in strips and ca glue to stiffen everything up. With this it holds but has a little give so a new crack doesn't start above or below old one. If you use this method don't go crazy with CA all at once. Do it in small increments to stop heat build up and possible warping.
  13. I'd get all of it under just enough. The only issue you have to watch is with raising and lowering you arm. You dont want bell getting caught inside bicep. Let the experimental stage begin. Getting there!
  14. Loving this! The photo's are great! The look on your face! Now you have a mannequin that moves!
  15. Yeah. That happens some time. Not to speak for Walt but I believe he was using a smaller different pipe with those caps. His new ones fit like a glove on PVC pipe now. I had same issue and he sent out replacements quickly. Looking great so far! The end is getting closer by the day!
  16. If you can't see them then anything is fine. Strapping isn't considered for approval. Just look from the outside is judged.
  17. When I do my HWT I tend to feel it after a couple of hours. Wearing the costume alone is a workout. Done up with pack and pauldron and BFG can wear you down. To look that good we have to pay a little price. Any Sandy's in your garrison? Maybe try one on if you can. For the record I'd guess mine weighs 10-15 pounds.
  18. Looking good Jen! Keep it up
  19. Good look overall! You should be able to get approval. I notice in your front on shot that your thighs are against cod. That's definitely the clanking sound maker. You don't have to but you could trim the insides down a bit where they meet cod. Leaving a nice line of black showing and they wont hit anymore. Good Luck with your approval! Always nice to see more ladies in white!
  20. Congratulations! Here comes the Fun part!
  21. That's perfectly fine! Great job!
  22. Hey Mike, How about posting a photo so we can help give the best advice. A little gap is Canon so let's see what you have.
  23. Congratulations! Nice to see another RT going Expert!
  24. Yes. Exactly! When you heat and bend to straighten. Keep an eye on that edge when bending. You dont want it to crack. Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
