  1. Looks good. I think you may have put the tube stripes on the wrong sides. The left side looks off to me. The police will be by soon I'm sure. Great paint job. Keep up the good work!
  2. Looks like sanding is gonna win Morgan You can do it! And Welcome to the FISD!
  3. Most Impressive Q! I agree with everything for the belt both green and purple. I've seen more white drop boxes then grey in game stills/reference photo's mainly seeing them in darker scenes leading me to think a reflection in 2D. The thigh ammo belt I'll have to live with it I guess if it moves up Fan of leaving it like every other TK. Moving on Holster seems logical. If converting use what you got so you don't deal with two holes showing and loops if starting fresh. Not mentioned but nice add with 4 or 5 button plate option. Great for conversation of roughed up armor. Sorry, It's the HWT brain I have. Since the Commander has a built in shield generator my thought was that was 5th button.
  4. Not bad but you need to get your brow up some. Easy fix Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
  5. First Thanks for seeing this to the end Glen I'm sure this research will maybe lead you to make your next costume! That would be what? #30 something As for your first point I agree with you totally with keeping it towards OTTK heritage. When I did mine I thought alot about the knee pack. Should I go OT or try it up high. I clamped it and set it on table and looked at it for a few days and concluded I'd go original location. The factors for me was why would it be different on just his armor? I don't think fan's would really notice and the power cells are closer and longer in reference and we have OT style so...... I still stand the Ab rivets should be as in reference and also matching kidney rivets added to CRL. Making that really an easy mod to convert to TKC. Which makes for another option then going Sandy.(I love my Sandy Peeps!) just keeping in house options available! The belt is a tough one for the extra length. Most makers dont leave what you really need. My WTF was almost 2". My RT could do it. Rob gave like 4". Maybe in Blue Centurion requirement it could be added if armor supports it tabs should be longer to match game closer with "*". Besides that keep boxes at edge and maybe note cloth belt favors top of plastic portion with extra on bottom. That's about it for me. Looking foward to seeing others thoughts
  6. Congratulations Brett! I'm done with this one.....Next!
  7. I'm getting that also.
  8. Being for the inside, any plastic would work. Personally I'm not a fan of for sale sign material. It's not thick and strong enough to me. Many hobby shops sell styrene sheets. Some even sell packages of strips in different widths and thickness. Doesn't Trooperbay sell some? Hmmm
  9. Looking good so far! If you have coverstrip material left over I recommend internal coverstrips. Without a doubt you need them for inside calves. The flex they take putting them on calls for it. Use plenty of E-6000 when putting them in. We're going for stability not pretty here. Keep up the good work!
  10. Nice clean build Chris! Just work at closing that gap a bit between bicep and forearm. You could lower the bicep a bit and wouldn't hurt. Your belt is sitting low. You want it right up at the bottom buttons. As is I'd say definitely should be good for approval. Looking foward to you joining the Legion and the NEG! Good Luck Future Trooper!
  11. The coverstrip strip should meet up against raised edge on limbs. Say you use accurate 20mm strip on shin you would mark each half 10mm and trim. How do they fit on you? If you have room I'd redo them. Also your dog ear notches look a bit big and uneven. Good advice is check out some approved Centurion threads and check out the gallery that has great photo's. Throw them on and post a few photo's for us. Maybe they need to be that wide and may need a bit wider strip then 20mm. Keep us posted Future Trooper
  12. Those end caps are a bit big. They should be I believe 20mm. You should trim them down and move clips to touch them. Check the size of control panel. It could use a little sanding to even out wavy edge. Locutis has some great info in the gallery. Check out the one for detonator itself. He also has measurement photo's in the RS suit section that shows size of caps and control panel. You're doing great! Keep up the good work. And please for me and well everybody. Don't settle for basic. Think Centurion! and you'll get there. We'll help! Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
  13. I would think TK's just talk to each other directly. One on one when together on DS. Like the two thinking " it's a drill". They have no need to have chatter. Sandy's on Tatooine are a police force and spread out in all area's. They're relaying info on the spot as it happens. Which would come across as chatter. I would think they (TK/TD) have different channels of communications and procedures. I use the chatter loop in my HWT backpack. I use my phone and throw it in the radio. It's nice background noise and helps the illusion of being part of something big and sounds cool coming from radio.
  14. Congratulations Christopher! Welcome to the Ranks!
  15. Congratulations! Commander
  16. You're finding different images because they're made differently between game systems and PC. And probably from a few different games the character appears in. This is kinda starting to follow the HWT deal in where to decide what was the first varient and stick with it or decide to let it evolve and allow options. I prefer the latter as the Commander looks different on PC compared to console.
  17. Looks great! I would just lose the big tab on the ends of shoulder bridges. Good Luck!
  18. Congratulations Jose! Welcome to the Advanced Ranks Trooper! Nice to see you're hitting those easy fixes quickly. See you at Centurion soon!
  19. I agree with all of Glens points. Not a fan of #3 just because it looks weird compared to any other TK. Maybe it was meant to make it stand out from other skins in game???. #10. Funny all the shots I found when making mine never showed a holster. But there it is. I thought we ironed out the overlap for level 3 not being required anymore since not all makers can be adapted to overlap. I thought new reading is if your armor supports it( TM, CFO....) then go for it. If not we allow coverstrip. That's reason how I was able to get Centurion. I think your recruit should be ok Glen. Definitely need to add #4 to CRL. They can be seen in most shots. I added mine after Centurion approval just to not go against requirements. Thanks for bringing this up again Glen. The more we do things like this the better and more accurate we get. Even with this awesome mixed up FrankenTKstein!
  20. Looking Sharp! Good Luck!
  21. Just got caught up with your thread. Fun so far. Love the thinking out of the box on your neckseal. Let me second Glen here on using nylon webbing for snap plates. 90% of the spots you're putting snaps isn't flat. The nylon conforms nicely to the uneven armor and best of all the E-6000 squeezes into the nooks and cranny's of webbing giving an even better hold. Either way, good luck with your build.
