1. Thanks guy's
Joseph they are for my TM Hero ANH and to be honest the hardest part was the setting out of the template once that was done the masters and molds only took a couple of hours to make and cast.
2. Thought i would show how i have made my hand plates. Started off by making a template . The measurements were used to make my template out of thin card . I used the back of my hand and cut out and refined a paper template until i was happy with size and that is how i arrived at the measurements above. Once i had my template i rolled out some plastercene until i reached a thickness i was happy with and then cut out my two base shapes. After the base was done i re rolled the plastercene making it thinner this time for the next level of detail this was marked and cut then added to the base and smoothed in . This process was repeated for the third layer of detail. Now that i had my master i could make some molds. Using a sandwich box i put the master in the bottom and then covered in plaster of paris . When they had dried out I filled them with latex. This was left for a day or two to dry. As the latex dries it shrinks a bit so was very easy to remove from the molds. Done just need to paint white and attach to some gloves.
3. Fantastic mate I think that you will just keep going on this refining and upgrading until it looks more like blaster than doopydoo does ,grip pattern next I'm guessing.
4. Looking good just one thing I notice is you could do with reducing the angle of the clearing strip on the bolt . To look more accurate the top of your mark is spot on but the bottom could do with being in the bottom quarter of the curve. Nice work .
You need to use a photo sharing site like photo bucket
5. As above Paul Troopermaster is six foot himself so don't think you will be disappointed.
6. Hi that is superglue cyanoacrylate.
Absolutely fine for abs but if this is for glueing your cover strips etc most people use E-6000.
7. Hi have you contacted AP to see if you can get what you need from there. I only suggest AP as i noticed on your other thread that is the armour you have this should also give you the best colour match to what you have.
Hope that you find what you need.
8. As you say scope also the counter and the power cylinders of the top of the mag housing and lastly the t-track
9. Looking forward to joining you soon.
What a fantastic year.
10. Just seen it today star wars but not Star Wars very mixed feelings about it. I Definitely agree that Ren seems to pick up the force to fast great comedic moments between Han and Chewie like an old married couple. The thing I spotted that tickled me was Finn crashes in a TIE dressed as a trooper takes his armour off removes his neck seal that seems to be nothing more than just the ribbed part and finally seems to no longer be wearing his white boots but black/brown shoes. Where did he get them from?

16. Hi Richard I'm not sure what you are experiencing is orange peel effect as that is where the surface is mostly flat apart from some dimples that look like the skin of an orange. Are you sure that it is not the box reacting tto the paint.
17. ----------- These are the ones i got
18. Have you searched equestrian sites in canada jodhpur boots are often cheaper than Chelsea boots. -----------
19. I might be wrong but I don't think the cod rivet is painted I was not going to. Also if you are worried about snagging maybe some sugr or silicone sealant maybe even some white duct tape over the ends.
20. Sorry I made it for a friend for last Christmas and never thought to take photos. It was just something I spotted and thought I know what I can do with that.
