If you were on that train and it was going at say the same speed a bullet fired from a gun. If you then take that gun and shoot at the train in front dead centre would the bullet hit the front train? I am assuming that you are in the wake of the front train.

Ok serious answer. Personally I think that just because the two objects are going faster than light doesn't mean that they would not be able to see each other. The light from the second ship will still reache the first ship as they are moving at exactly the same speed so are basically stationery to each other so I think that the light would only have to travel at its normal speed between the two objects to reach the first. As I said I am not a scientist so that might be rubbish.

Then let's mix it up a bit . If you were towing a TIE fighter at lightspeed would you be able to see the pilot panicking? Sorry i know that is silly.
-
TIE fighters have windows in the back ,don't they? You have to much time on your hands thinking about this stuff. But I have a question star wars related was Luke wanting to go to an imperial academy in ANH? And if so does that mean he wanted to be a TIE pilot.

No not at all just thought I'd use extra insole if I was on my feet for a while as i tend to have a bit of ache if standing for long periods. Old age setting in mate.

Hi Mark I've been watching your wip over on the ukg forum. Frustrating isn't it when you follow the crl only to be told that isn't how uk do it for basic. I have come up against that a little and I know when you pointed out you are following the crl you had a similar response as i did. Glad to see it's not put you off finishing your build. Keep at it

Hugh if I had been able I would have gone a size up just so I could put a gell insole in .As it is that would make mine far to tight so if you are thinking of additional insole i would say go a size up.

Mine came yesterday (ordered on 19th feb).I am a uk size 11 and that was the largest they do so no chance of larger size. They are a perfect fit and probably the softest leather shoes I have ever bought. Very very happy. Also they hug the top of the ankle much tighter than the jodhpur boots I have been using.

Taptalk pain in the bum I removed it after ten minutes.

Get rid of forearm return edge now, or wait?
Mcott65 replied to chukc1892's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Also removing that return will enable you to make the arms snugger fitting rather than maybe having to adjust when you remove later. -
All technology likes to try and make you look daft it's taking over. Can't wait to see this.

Quick question on drop boxes
Mcott65 replied to humperdingle's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I'm no expert by a long way but I would guess that they are the same as all the other boxes, ammo. Stormtroopers need lots of ammo. -
Hi Kevin the detail kit only makes up a sterling sub machine gun, so on top of that you will need to source scope, rail, t-track and counter.
Hope this helps.

Are these shoes okay?

Richard's ANH Stunt 2 mm [TM]
Mcott65 replied to VulpX's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
I repared a crack in my shin by polly welding some abs offcut behind it . Basically melting the abs across the crack to re enforce it. Or you can use super glue instead of polly cement. -
Noobie question: Hero, Stunt, etc...
Mcott65 replied to yooper419's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Hi the main difference between the two is the number of teeth in the frown the hero only has 3 each side, the bumps on the ears hero three stunt four and the hero has four rivets holding the holster stunt has two. Think that's it. -
Hi Christina
I have the TM 2mm and can only tell you how I have found that.
It's very solid feeling more like you would expect the armour to feel if it was real. Very shiny and bright white. The only small downside to this is that it is not as flexible a material as the 1.5mm which generally doesn't make a lot of difference. I have only had a couple of places where this has been an issue the shoulder parts of the back and the shin with the sniper knee. Thinning the return edges down sorted this out though. I found it great to work with and you will be really happy with which ever one you decide on. If you check out the centurion threads you should be able to find some examples of both kits.

Making latex hand plates alternate style
Mcott65 replied to Mcott65's topic in The Foundry - Armor and Prop Making
Thanks Germain thought that they should be ok but great to have a second opinion.
Olivier you may find that just putting white paint into the latex may compromise the flexibility or just go lumpy. I have put a latex colour addative whitener in my second cast which has made the latex more of a cream colour.
The idea to use tube sealant sounds like it should work but I tried it and it was just a big mess hard to get the mold to fill without any air pockets and to sticky to properly remove from the mold. -
