Hi never put it on the elastic i used a fabric paint for that. I also painted in sides of the soles with revell aqua colour black which is an acrylic model paint to cover over painting of the white. The leather dye is actually an acrylic paint as well , i removed as much black from the boots as possible with isopropyl carefully. Then they had about five or six coats of leather dye using a sponge brush. The elastic had about the same number of coats of fabric paint. Then i finished them with three coats of kiwi trainer whitener.

Hope so but only time will tell i suppose.

I have Some of this only mine is called polymorph melting point is about 62*C. Not sure how well it would cast as it is quite stiff when it is soft and may not conform to a soft mould very well . But as in the video with a bit of practice you may be able to sculpt and even carve pieces.

Rubbing alcohol is sometime used for paint removal on model kits and won't damage plastics Sorry bad info on my part .But ipa( isopropyl alcohol) is definitely what I have used to remove paint from model kits before ,though to be fair that is styrene not abs.

That was what I ment so the tabs are sandwiched between the two belt Velcro fastenings

I wondered about that not so much theft but people(kids) playing with you trying to pull it off. My thought was that when I have my armour and know where it should fit on my belt add some Velcro to the detonator supports so you can secure it in place before belting up. Don't know if that would work ?

Thanks T-Jay and Steve that has been a great help. Was thinking that I would go that way . got some boots on order and I am also getting soft parts organised . also thought while I am at it would prep for getting Paul's snowtrooper so orderd muckluk boots for that aswell

to late now I have purchased a pair size uk 9 £25 about $38 deliverd so will soon find out. at that price I couldn't pass them up. Fingers crossed

Hello I have been in touch with Paul Troopermaster and have decided that his armour is defiantly the way to go . But here is my dilemma there are two grades of armour he has 1.5mm ABS and 2mm acrylic capped ABS, could someone offer opinion on which you think I should go for. thanks Mark

Seeing Troopermasters new snowtrooper I am seriously thinking about getting one , but I have a question I hope someone could help with. I am a size uk 11 shoe and I see that the CRL says muckluk 2-3 sizes smaller than usual footwear . what I would like to know is , is this correct .

Thanks for sharing this .I wish I had known about this sound card before Christmas the one I used in my mates blaster was ok but this would have been even better. This will definitely be going in my build.
