  1. Glad to be of assistance and thanks for the props. Keep up the great work
  2. Ouch! Been there done that lol. Here's to hoping you heal quick
  3. Once side of me is saying "this pack is not correct" with all the greeblies and such, BUT the other said is saying that is a awesome looking rig!
  4. If you can afford RS I'd go for that being it's one, if not the most accurate ANH kit available. Anovos delivery is spotty and unpredictable at best and the details have already been discussed above. ATA detail is not at accurate or sharp as RS but it's half the price. I own a set and love it.
  5. At 5'10" 140 you'll find most armors may be a little large on you but that's ok most can be altered to fit. As for the suppliers you have 850 (North America), Jim's (Philippines), and I hear there's may be suppliers in the UK and Australia but don't quote me. No one else has come forward asking to have their armor added to vetted list that I'm aware of. When working with Jim's kit it's not that it's harder to assemble you just need to be aware of the fiberglass and just make sure you're using the proper personal protection, like a respirator when sanding. Also, Jim's kit may require ongoing maintenance as it tends to have minor cracking issues as time goes on (someone correct me if this has changed). Edit: I think KB makes a kit, check FB
  6. I've built a few 850 (AW) kits from Shoretroopers to Deathtroopers, very easy to assemble. A short while back his armor details were pretty soft and their delivery times were lackluster but their process has improved and I recommend them as an alternative supplier. I also built an FOTK and Shoretrooper that Jim makes, again easy to assemble. Both suppliers have their pros and cons. After building both IMHO it's easier to work with ABS vs fiberglass. That said Jim's armors are far more detailed and in most cases more accurate. It's a coin toss. Hope this helps
  7. Congratulations Jason welcome to Expert Infantry, fantastic job
  8. Alright Branden looking forward to your build
  9. I want the 709 banner, how much and shipping to US? Seriously I want it
  10. Hey Mike great question. I encourage you to take a look at the MEPD CRLs so you have the latest information needed to make the right decision. Sandtroopers are very unique and require specific information depending on the trooper you want to emulate. Here the MEPD CRL http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:MEPD_CRL Hope this helps
  11. Alright Adi, congratulations. Welcome to Centurion
  12. Unless the Mouse is encouraging it. Look at the FOTK selling at GE. My first thought was, who in their right mind would pay for that? Answer, people with money to spend. If Disney is charging this kind of $ for the armor at GE who knows what they could be recommending Anovos retail their products at, and/or charging Anovos a boatload for royalties which would leave them no alternative but to pass the bill on to the consumer Sadly, if the mouse ever decides to bring the hammer down 3rd party armor suppliers this could become the new norm. Let's hope not
  13. lol, yea don't stress too hard
  14. He's a legion FOTK approved in an Anovos Alpha kit, this is his 2nd kit. Guess I should have been more clear on this
  15. Well it's August in So Cal, be prepared for anything lol
  16. Awesome looking forward to meeting so many of you
  17. Javier completed his over a month ago. He built it to the Anovos design with no changes. He's already a legion FOTK
  18. Snap mounts are pretty easy to be honest. I know all this may seam daunting however, there are many build threads on the subject as well as countless Centurions with interior photos illustrating placements, not to mention folks here to help. If you don't feel up to making your own there are kits you can buy, just glue in place and go. Hope this helps
  19. You're doing great
  20. Much better though I personally would trim the smaller plate even further. Any edge or corner that sticks further than the armor is in danger of getting caught on something, not to mention a smaller plate would look more screen accurate, as per the reference photo.
