  5. Nice work Steve, as always. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I am very impressed with your choice of such an extravagant material for this project, I love carbon fibre, have two race bikes (cyclist) made of the stuff. Can't wait for the updates, you may inspire me to attempt the same down the track. Good luck. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Congrats Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah, and if you don't wash it out properly, damn your eyes burn. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Where's a wrangler when you need one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Have you thought about a Hokey bag, soft option, easier to fit in a car with other luggage. You can make a cheap frame to fit inside to make it more ridged. Frame is made from electrical conduit half inch glued together with CA glue, all pipe parts including corners to join together for approx$12 from a local hardware store. 11. If it doesn't fit around the middle, you can shim the halves. If it doesn't fit around the thighs, you can shim those too and make slightly wider cover strips. ATA armour is a reasonable size, so I wouldn't be concerned until it arrives and you start to measure up things. How tall are you and weight please you will get better feedback form more troopers if you include these. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Congrats on your 501st approval, welcome to the Legion. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Looks good, just those couple of things that have already been mentioned will make you look even better and more accurate. Good luck Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Gee use the wrong paint in your paint booth and it will dissolve into a gooey mess Lol, sensational build by the way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Awesome photo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. That looks cool, nice work, and yeah, don't paint em by accident lol, of course you won't not after the effort you are putting in. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Not quite sure, but have seen others use it and then stress because they think they have used the wrong one. I believe you have several button parts in your kit. The originals were glued on to the surface of the belt as per reference photos in the library, so go with the the belt without the recesses. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. You are powering ahead James, well done Sir, it just gets easier and easier with every cut, sand, Dremmel and before you know it, Two shiny new TK's are born. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Peter, it looks fine mate, if Steve (Gazmosis) says it's good, it's good. Love the perfectionist anxiety comment , can relate to that as I'm sure you can too Peter. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Use the bottom one, keep the other as a spare. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Hey Peter, look at some of the EIB and Centurion application you will get a good idea on how much to trim, but it looks like a fair bit to me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I was goofing around lol, but yep Cat Crap is the stuff to use. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Sick and tired of these Fogging Lenses!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Didn't even look when I did mine, just went off the Lucas archive photos and trimmed what I thought looked about right. The AM kits are made with plenty of surplus material so they suit a wide variety of sized troopers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. I would be taking off of both Peter, and by the looks of it, quite a bit. Your shoulder bridges and elastic are what will run across the top. Have a look at the reference shots of the actual armour from the movies and you will get the idea. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
