On a side note, you don't want to overcrowd the inside of your bucket either, in the warmer months you want some form of air circulation or it's going to get real stuffy, real fast even with fans. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I must be lucky cause my bucket virtually touches my neck seal at the front. I have simply used a few pieces of dark grey foam in appropriate places, my 8 year old says she can't see up inside the helmet . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You can use the other plate with the bolts for basic approval, but if you tend to go for higher levels, they are not accurate. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Agree with Tolo on both accounts. Much better than Vox as sometimes mine even picks up breathing, and that static burst gets annoying if it goes off too frequently. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

As a suggestion, perhaps don't trim quite as much off the bottom, make the tapper of the thigh more gradual rather than so steep as it is in your picture. Then reassess, take another shot and post it up as you have done here. I think it won't look as bad. Is the top tight against your thigh or is there movement? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I use an Aker 1506, plenty loud enough, am also trialling an icomm for the static burst sound. As for fans, Echo here for n the boards makes a great set up, otherwise you can make your own easily. Fans from evil bay, battery holders with built in on/off switches from RadioShack, along with some rechargeable batteries and your done. If you get two wire fans (red +,black -) you can't go wrong.
