  1. If it doesn't fit around the middle, you can shim the halves. If it doesn't fit around the thighs, you can shim those too and make slightly wider cover strips. ATA armour is a reasonable size, so I wouldn't be concerned until it arrives and you start to measure up things. How tall are you and weight please you will get better feedback form more troopers if you include these. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Congrats on your 501st approval, welcome to the Legion. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Looks good, just those couple of things that have already been mentioned will make you look even better and more accurate. Good luck Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Gee use the wrong paint in your paint booth and it will dissolve into a gooey mess Lol, sensational build by the way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Awesome photo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. That looks cool, nice work, and yeah, don't paint em by accident lol, of course you won't not after the effort you are putting in. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Not quite sure, but have seen others use it and then stress because they think they have used the wrong one. I believe you have several button parts in your kit. The originals were glued on to the surface of the belt as per reference photos in the library, so go with the the belt without the recesses. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. You are powering ahead James, well done Sir, it just gets easier and easier with every cut, sand, Dremmel and before you know it, Two shiny new TK's are born. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Peter, it looks fine mate, if Steve (Gazmosis) says it's good, it's good. Love the perfectionist anxiety comment , can relate to that as I'm sure you can too Peter. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Use the bottom one, keep the other as a spare. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Hey Peter, look at some of the EIB and Centurion application you will get a good idea on how much to trim, but it looks like a fair bit to me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I was goofing around lol, but yep Cat Crap is the stuff to use. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Sick and tired of these Fogging Lenses!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Didn't even look when I did mine, just went off the Lucas archive photos and trimmed what I thought looked about right. The AM kits are made with plenty of surplus material so they suit a wide variety of sized troopers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I would be taking off of both Peter, and by the looks of it, quite a bit. Your shoulder bridges and elastic are what will run across the top. Have a look at the reference shots of the actual armour from the movies and you will get the idea. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. 100% agree with Steve, the journey is awesome. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I think you are on the right track, I am approx 5'9" 148 pounds and I went with AP, you will not be disappointed . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Had the same drama with the humidity and fogging even with two fans running. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Industrial Velcro Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Nice neat job, shouldn't take too much to clean up, and it looks better already. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Looking awesome. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Or of course you can just go and buy some Plasti Polish that does the same or similar thing although not as much fun as mixing up your own poisonous concoctions. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Lol[emoji23], and of course, I would not expect any less of an observation from you Steve. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Sorry one more thing, how easy is it to get your hands through the wrist of your fore arms? , it should be a tight fit pushing them through. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. I think once you shorten up the bottom of your shins and the tops off your thighs, it's going to look fantastic. I would also shorten the elastic strapping from your shoulder bells to the bridges until the two are touching at the top. Also your biceps are sitting too high so drop those down so there is a smaller gap between the top of the forearms and the bottom of those biceps. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
