  3. If you can walk up stairs in TK armour, you are doing well my friend, stairs are a challenge for many, myself included. The top of the thighs digs in to my hip area. As to your shins, I too must open mine fairly wide, so I put extra strip on the inside front to reinforce it and have had no problems so far Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. That's good news, looking forward to seeing your app photos. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. Hi Brent, armour is looking great, but if I may make a suggestion regarding your thigh ammo belt. It seems you have quite a bit of material left along the top and bottom of this piece, most I have seen, have this trimmed closer to the ammo boxes. Also the rivets look central to the ends, they should be in the top corners, attaching the belt to the thigh. Check the CRL link below. These things may affect your application, but please wait until Steve has had a look and made his comments http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt Good luck with your application.
  7. Massive satisfaction from the full, assemble it yourself experience[emoji2]. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. If you want to remove the last little lip, you can do two things. Dremmel cautiously, or a good sized piece of course sandpaper on a flat surface and sand away holding the end cap in your hand and rubbing back and fourth. I had the same issue as I am sure many do. 9. Lookin good, just wondering how your rivets popped out, that must have taken some force surely. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Just remembered, Scope's drop boxes are held together with magnets, but he is worried they may come apart to easily if he put cash or something in them, he plans to change them at some stage but not sure what he is going to use. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Everyone starts out a little nervous on their first build, but you have already started trimming, so the most daunting step is behind you. Take your time, continue to ask questions when in doubt and refer to build threads and reference photos from the movie. Good luck, we are here to help. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. That's an awesome option, me thinks I will be following suit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Congrats Sven, well deserved and welcome to the ranks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Nice work, you have done, look accurate it does. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Hey guys, to answer the question regarding the notches at the back of your shins and thighs. Absolutely a yes you can, it will not affect your EIB or Centurion applications. I had no choice but to do mine for mobility, and to avoid armour bite, and had no trouble at all with approvals. As Locitus says, some of the troopers in ANH had the notches. Mine were done before any approvals took place. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Good, slow and steady wins the race, and your finished product will look sensational. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I did the loops and put a small piece of Velcro on the inside to keep them in place and make them easily movable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Looking awesome so far, arm parts look nice and clean, and the back plat is looking much better, keep up the good work. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Hey John, how was the Indooroopilly troop today? I would trim some more of the return edge off the shoulder bell, it doesn't need much. Here in Brisvegas, most of the builds these days are using CA glue (Zappa gap) you just need to make sure everything is where you want it before you put the parts together, but have a chat to Petros on the RBG forum as he is using E6000 and yes he got it from Trooperbay. Your progress is looking good, don't be scared to give me a call if you need some help, just PM me and I will give you my number. troopers helping Troopers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Thought those images looked familiar. They are 22mm checkouts, I was hesitant at first as this change occurred during my build, but always intended to make Centurion and it was an easy mod. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Mmmm, nice shiny whitey, enjoy the journey, it's a fun one indeed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Congrats Steve, welcome to the ranks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Good luck, you did a great job. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Hi Patrick, looks awesome, one suggestion the top of your thighs the cover strips, if you find they dig into you a little, you can trim them to follow the line of the thighs. At the moment they look to be straight at the top, not that there is anything wrong with that. Great work. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. This picture is part of a whole series of concept art work, not sure but it may have little if anything to do with the new movies, I'm just trying to find the link to repost it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
