  1. Hi Andy, no probs with your request regarding the photo, my current problem is poor internet as am away for work this week. Photobucket access has been difficult with little to no bandwidth. Don't worry, we can see the new photo so will reference it when reviewing your armor. Thank you for your patience and we will be with you soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Hey Daryl, Uk and I will be with you shortly, and nice belt by the way , but is it sitting a little low under the ab button plate

  5. Hey Roy!!, welcome to your Centurion review, lets get right to it. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted. Your armor has the required elements to qualify for Centurion. With that, we would like to congratulate and welcome you to Centurion. Other-Armor Assembly/Fit: Thank you for actioning the suggestions as per your EIB thread review, you look fantastic. Just two little tweaks needed to balance you out and it will look perfect. 1. Top shoulder straps. If you could shorten them up a touch so the bells touch the shoulder bridges, it will take you that extra step closer to screen accuracy. 2. Right arm forearm placement. Drop the forearm down so you have maybe 1/2 " gap between the top of it and the bottom of the bicep, and the gap between the wrist end and the hand plate will balance and match the gap you already have on your left arm. Congratulations once again, I would be proud to Troop next to you, as I am sure your fellow garrison members already are. Well done good sir!
  6. Hi Steve, and welcome to your EI review CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All photos are present and your armor represents all necessary elements to qualify for EIB. With that we'd like to congratulate you on your new "Expert Infantryman" status!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we will discuss observations made by your fellow troopers as well as ourselves. These may contain suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Unless stated in the above or below sections, these suggestions are not required. Very tidy build indeed, if there were anything, and it would be picky, may we suggest you take a small amount off the tops of your front thigh cover strips (that is only if it not just the camera angle that makes them look longer than the thighs). From a point of accuracy, and again these are a little hard to tell from the photo, but make sure those screws in your Thermal Det are pan head, we just cant quite make it out. Good paint job on the helmet, perhaps see if you cant tidy up the black outlines on the Traps as they are a little thick in areas. Man your armor is a credit to you, great job. Centurion Suggestions: We try to spot all that we can and mention it here, but the final Centurion accuracy is up to the trooper. You got this, close up the gaps between Kidney and Ab plate, make sure you have all the required photos posted up and re check the Level 3 requirements in the CRL. Congrats once again Steve, for a well earned Expert Infantry badge.
  7. Hey Lee thanks you for your EIB application CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Awesome build, great job. Thank you for removing the decal from the shoulder bell, so without further delay, your armor meets all CRL criteria. Congratulations and welcome to Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we cover off your overall appearance and balance of fit, if it is discovered that adjustment are required to get you looking your best, they will be mentioned here. If any of these will effect a future Centurion application, they will be covered in that section below. Let us start by saying, what an excellent build you have here. The overall balance and fit are fantastic, and really there are only two things that we would like to see adjusted. 1. Shoulder bells: The top of the Bell should be virtually if not touching the side of the shoulder bridge. All you need do is shorten those top straps and it will be perfect. 2. Side gaps between Ab and Kidney plate. You are on the limits of what is acceptable for EIB. These will need to be closed up completley if in the event you decide to push for Centurion approval. Centurion Suggestions: The ultimate accuracy at this level is up to the Trooper, and Lee, we see no reason why you should not aim for the top rank. If you can cinch in those side gaps without having to add side shims, then that is the easier solution. Failing that you would need to make a very narrow set of shims and blend them in with ABS paste. Make the couple of adjustments we have mentioned above, follow the CRL for Centurion and hopefully we see you in your beautiful armor with application in hand in the future. Again, Congratulations sir.
  8. Hi Mark, a picture paints a thousand words, so may I suggest you post up a few so members can get a visual on where you are at, and chime in with appropriate advice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. You can certainly trim your cover strips to follow the ridge line of the top of the forearm, also less chance of getting armor bite if you do [emoji3] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  11. Hi Francis!!, its time to look at your application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All photos are posted, and your armor meets all requirements as laid out in the level 2 CRL for Expert infantry. with that said we would like to welcome you to the rank, Congratulations!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section, we review suggestions made by your fellow troopers and our own observations, that go towards improving the final look of your armor. If any suggestions require changes, we list those in the above section or the Centurion Suggestions section. Yet another great build, very nicely done, with only a few very minor adjustments required and a replacement blaster and Centurion will be yous as well. Although the below mentioned adjustments don't effect a future application, we are requesting you make them to look the best you can. Shoulder Bells: These should be virtually touching the shoulder bridges at the top, so simply shortening that top strap on each side will have them sitting right. Biceps and Fore arms: The biceps could be dropped down a little, but also you can have a small gap between the bottom of them and the top of the fore arms. This will allow the fore arms to sit a bit lower as you have quite a large gap on your right arm around the wrist area One other thing to be mindful of is the gap opening up on your rights side between the back and kidney plate. Again we think this is just a strap adjusting exerciser and should take you no time at all to correct. Centurion Suggestions: The ultimate accuracy required for Centurion is up to the trooper, and you are almost there my friend. As per the CRL for level 3, Hasbro and other toy version blasters are not acceptable, so get yourself a Doopy's resin kit or one of the fantastic kits made by some of our talented members and we expect to see your application in the near future.Once again Congratulations on a really clean armor build and your place in the EI ranks.
  12. Hi Brandon, thank you for your extreme patience and welcome to your EI badge review CRL and EIB Application Requirements: Thanks for getting all the necessary photos posted up. Upon inspection your armor meets all requirements pertaining to the level 2 CRL, so Congratulations and welcome to the rank of Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section, we review suggestions made by your fellow troopers and our own observations, that go towards improving the final look of your armor. If any suggestions require changes, we list those in the above section If changes are required that would effect a future Centurion application they will be mentioned in that section below. Let us start by saying overall you have a solid build, and have done a great job assembling this kit. We have a few things to cover regarding fit and finish here so we shall start at the top and work our way down. Helmet: We know the Anovos helmets come per-trimmed and assembled, but they do look so much better with a few tweaks. Frown and Eyes: The eye holes could do with a minor trim to take a little more of the material out that shouldn't be there. Nice work cleaning up the over spray, so really just need to improve the taper at the ends of the frown so they lean out to a point. Shoulder bells: This is a simple mod, just shorten up the straps that connect the top of the Bells to the Bridges so the two virtually touch as they are in the below screen shot. Belt: This took a little bit of deliberation, as the rest of your armor looks great, I am glad to see you posted in your app thread that you are looking to replace it, as we would strongly suggest you do exactly that. its not so much the fact that they need to be patched to meet requirements but more to the point, the material part is not as good as we see on many other canvas belts available, and I know you want to look the best you can or you would not have mentioned the above replacement. The material sags and becomes misshapen due to its thinness. Sniper plate caught behind thigh armor: We see in a few photos that your Sniper plate tends to catch behind the thigh (a common problem) You can help remedy this by placing a piece of foam at the back of the lower thigh armor, in turn pulling the front of the thigh closer to your leg and avoiding the SP from tucking under it. Centurion Suggestions: The ultimate accuracy required for Centurion is up to the trooper, but we certainly try and identify as much as possible, to get you looking the absolute best you can for this level. Below is some of the fine tuning and changes we would like to see in your future application, as you have done so well to come this far, I don't see any reason for you not to go the whole way. A replacement soft belt is definitely required to help get you over the line. Unless a rivet removal and patch job looks invisible, the supplied belts in these kits are not of a standard that would be fitting for Centurion level. Remove the white paint from the two butt plate snaps Bicep cover strips: These should finish at the ends of the bicep, but yours appear to continue past that point. Armor bite can be a painful thing and these strips look like they could do you some damage, so I would suggest you sand them down to finish with the bottom ridge. Knee ammo pack rivets: We see the image where they are painted, so just make sure you have new full length photos taken for a Centurion app, as they are not painted in those images in this application. Thermal Det clips: They look a little dangerous, as they could possibly scratch either your armor or maybe scrape someone else. If you can get those off and re bend them a little more those ends will sit flat and not protrude as they are. Keep an eye on the overlap that is occurring at your side where the ab and kidney meet (rivet side). these should butt up against each other, perhaps some foam behind might fix that, and just check on the rivet s aligning. I think this possibly moved when you raised your arms for the other side on shot. Brandon, you are one of the trail blazers, when it comes to the first few Anovos kits to come through the EIB process, think of these requested changes as your opportunity to set the standard, the precedent, for all Anovos applications to come. Follow the CRL for level 3, make sure you post all required photos replace the soft belt and make your adjustments. Once again congratulations and we look forward to seeing you again in the Centurion application thread.
  13. You have done exceptionally well, oh and by the way, we don't scale and check your measurements . Close enough is good enough, and yours are remarkable. Can't wait to review your EIB and Centurion apps. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  18. Generally the mid point of the overlap at the top and bottom is where you mark your cut lines for each half. As mentioned above, you need to keep a reasonable balance in the size of the two halves so I would agree to shift that central marker across to take more off the larger side and less off the smaller. 21. OK Mario, welcome back to your EI review. Your armor represents all necessary elements to qualify for EIB. With that we would like to congratulate you on your new "Expert Infantryman" status!!, well done Mario Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we usually review observations made by your fellow troopers but as yet no one has come forward with any, so we shall discuss some of our observations. These are suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion would affects a future Centurion application, it will be listed separately in the below section. You have a good clean build here, and to be honest, some minor trimming and a few adjustments, and you will look spectacular. Looks like you have a slight problem with your shins twisting and rotating. To keep this in check, maybe add some industrial Velcro to the inside front of the shin and to the front upper of the boot. Alternatively some foam in a couple of key locations towards the top of the shin can also prevent the movement. This miss alignment of your Ab and kidney plate is possibly only caused by you raising your arms, but something to keep in check all the same. The two halves should sit level along the top edge. Teeth should be painted to the gum line, and slightly extended on the ends Centurion Suggestions: Kidney to ab overlap: On the right hand side you have quite an overlap, which we would highly recommend you trim down so the two halves meet, and butt up against each other. This will most probably need to have an amount trimmed off each side of the kidney plate to keep it balanced. This means removing the 3 rivets on the kidney piece and re positioning them once you have trimmed back an even amount on either side. Calf cover strips: This is a little hard to tell as it may be just a bad angle or lighting in the photo, but your calf cover strip looks to extend all the way to the top. This needs to be trimmed off so it finishes at the base of the ridge. For your future Centurion application, continue to follow the CRL as you have been, and make sure to post up all required photos. Please post all full length photos wearing your new boots. Once again we congratulate you on reaching Expert infantry.
  22. Ok I gotta chime in on this one. Yep we have a lot of dangerous wild life, but unless you go looking for it, you generally don't see it, well that is of coarse until it's too late. Just two weeks ago my wife went outside to hang some washing on the line and a Red belly Black snake slithered across in front of her. These bad boys can kill. It's the first time we have seen a black snake in our yard. We have quite a few Red back spiders, which are a member of the black widow family. These are the ones you hear about that sometimes reside under toilet seats, and they can make you pretty sick. Drop bears, I know you have heard the tales, but don't go near these cute looking tree dwelling bears. One minute they are fine, the next, they are tearing you to shreds . Eastern browns are deadly, Taipans, copper heads, the list goes on and on. I guess that's what happens when you have a country the size of North America, and the bulk of it is desert, out back and rain forests and bush lands. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
