  1. Already have a 1080p Blu Ray version and have been pouring over it . Have noticed that the TK's manning the guns in the trench scene, look to have a black hip pouch of some description. Have only viewed it on my PC monitor but will be watching it again over the weekend on my 50" Plasma Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. We will be with you shortly Steve, but you are looking good.
  3. Hello Charles and thank you for your application to join the ranks of the Expert Infantry, Let's have a look!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor contains all the necessary elements required for EIB. Congratulations and welcome to Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section I will go over observations made by your fellow troopers as well as my own. Sometimes these observations may lead to a suggestion for a repair or adjustment. If these are required, I will list those in the Centurion section or they would have been listed above. All I have for you is a suggestion to drop your forearms just a touch. They should remain close to you biceps, but as you are 6'1' tall and long limbs, I think you will look a more balanced. Those gloves also look like they could pop out at any moment, specially when moving about while trooping. If Anovos is your choice in armor, then this build is the benchmark. You have addressed many things that have been pointed out in the past regarding inaccuracies with the Anovos kit.. The frown, Done The belt, Done Correct screws in the ears, Done Accurate mesh in the Hovi's, Done Trimmed out the excess material in the eyes, Done Centurion Suggestions: Although we do try to spot everything pertaining to Centurion, the ultimate accuracy is up to the trooper. This build has truly come together beautifully, and we cant really find fault It is always a pleasure to review a clean build, and I expect to see your Centurion application very soon. Again congratulations on a well deserved Expert Infantry badge. Get out there and make the GGG proud.
  4. You got this in the bag Michael Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. First off, thank you Michael for your great build and EI application, lets get to it! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos posted. Nice application and great pics! Thank you. Your armor demonstrates all the necessary elements required for EIB. With that I both congratulate and welcome you to Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we will go over the observations of your fellow troopers and and ones we have made. Sometimes a suggestion for a change is made. If these changes would affect any application, I will specify that requirement and/or have it listed in the Centurion section below. I know from our emails over the last year or so, you were never entirely happy with the AM kit, and it is a credit to you that you continued to research and change out parts until you were satisfied with the end product. It is never easy matching ABS from different armors, but you have done a remarkable job in doing so. Also great job on hand painting that helmet. There are only a few things to look at, most of which are strap adjustments, positioning and accuracy touches to get you looking your best. Shoulder Bell top straps: These should be virtually if not touching the plastic shoulder bridges, and an easy fix to shorten the elastic straps. Forearm to Bicep gap: I know you have this under control based on your own comments in your app thread. You have two options here. Drop the Biceps or raise the forearms, either way its just to reduce the gap between the two. Thermal Det: Only a suggestion to change the screws to a pan head also called slotted style, this has no bearing on any future application simply an accuracy mod. Centurion Suggestions: As much as we try to spot everything we can, the ultimate Centurion accuracy if applied for, is up to the trooper. Back plate: As per CRL for Centurion Back plate shall have no, or minimal overlap of the kidney plate. Yours is just a little too much, so perhaps shortening the straps that connect the chest to the back plate will bring it up and eliminate the overlap completely. Wheres the BIG gun ? I know you have a pretty shmick DLT-19 in your arsenal as well, might make another good action shot. Once again Congratulations Michael, on a well deserved Expert Infantry badge!! Make those few minor corrections and we hope to see a Centurion application from you soon.
  6. Hi Michael, hows it going? We will be with you shortly, but could you please post up a photo of the end of your e11 showing the D ring. We know its not on the checklist, but that is something we are working to remedy in the near future. Cheers

  8. Hi Alan, thank you for your Centurion application, lets take a look. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: Well you are certainly checking all the right boxes with your build, very nicely done, but before we can proceed and award you Centurion, there is an element that needs to be rectified. The placement of your side rivets is a little out and we will require you to re locate some of them. Please have a look at the costume screen reference image below yours to see the correct location and alignment. Your bottom rivet is placed down on the cod piece so needs to come up on both halves. The center rivets then need to be re-centered between the top rivets and the new bottom rivet location. The top two rivets should be fine where they are. Some ABS paste can be made up to fill the old holes and then sanded smooth and polished. There are numerous build threads and modification threads that can show you how simple ABS paste is to make and how to apply and sand Another Anovos armor below with parts almost aligned to help with rivet positioning. Make sure they are equally spaced apart. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: You look fantastic, well done!, the only other things we could mention and these do not effect you application are very minor and only suggestions to push the accuracy envelope. Tube stripes: The down side to mass production are the variances we see in the position of the Tube stripes. They should be approximately the width of a standard pencil off the cheek, in case you ever feel like replacing the factory mounted deal, Trooperbay sells some hand painted style you could use. Ear mounting screws. Anovos supply a not so accurate screw for this attachment. These should be the tapered or V head screws, again just an accuracy suggestion. A little bit of weathering on your E11 will go a long way to completing a fabulous costume, remember less is more. And finally a thank you for retaking the photos of your front. The new belt position is much better now. Please attend to the side rivet re-positioning and ABS past work, and we will gladly award you Centurion.
  9. Thanks for adding the new photos Allan, we will be with you shortly Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I sense an EIB application in your future, looking sharp my friend. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Thank you Charles, I love your armor by the way, one day I hope to build a Death trooper and can only hope it turns out any where near as good as yours is. Great work! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Hey Charles, any chance we can get a clear close up shot of your right hand side (Back to Ab plate join). It is a little unclear weather you have shimmed and not filled the second seam with ABS paste or it is just the distressing and weathering that makes it look like two seams. Words as per Centurion Death Trooper CRL There is no open gap between the ab and kidney armor, just a single visible seam line. Thanks in advance.
  13. Wow, thank you for your application Charles. Tony and i will be with you shortly.
  14. Hey Daryl, welcome to your Centurion review, lets take a look! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos are posted and your armor meets all the criteria for Centurion level. With that said we would like to congratulate you and welcome you to the ranks! Very nicely done sir. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: If we were to make any comment it would simply be the fact that both Tony and I prefer the taper of the frown to extend further and thinner towards the end as we see in most applications, but thank you for making the improvements that you have. Once again congratulations, now go out there and make Cloud City Garrison proud!!
  15. Your balance of gaps looks great, I wouldn't overthink it, as everyone has different length in limbs. It's a one size fits all when looking at these kits an I for one wouldn't hold back an approval because you are taller/shorter or otherwise. Keep up the great work. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Hey Vern whats with the necro post ?? Bringing back a touch of history, or is it bait on the end of a hook!!
  17. Congrats on LMO Eric, let the fun continue Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Very saddened to read posts such as these. Rest in peace Jenny, and prayers to her family. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Yes indeed Michael, looking forward to reviewing your applications. You've spent some time and dollars improving your armor, so get cracking on those applications. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. So lucky that perhaps we should not talk so much about it, in case one day our toys get taken away. I truly hope that never happens . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Hi Daryl, Ukswrath and I will be with you shortly. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Hi Andy, and welcome to your Centurion review CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted. Your armor has the required elements to qualify for Centurion. With that, we would like to congratulate and welcome you to Centurion rank. Other-Armor Assembly/Fit: Thank you for making those couple of adjustment suggested as per your EIB thread review, you look awesome. Once again Tony and i would like to congratulate you on a tremendous build. Report to the Death Star for duty immediately.
  23. I would have to agree with Tim on this one. The award is tied to the costume and not the member. If a member chose to retire a costume, and then decide to bring it out of retirement , does it not need to be re approved at a basic level to officially troop in it again? There fore, any new costume would need to be approved through all levels IMHO. A loophole that needs some attention I would say, and perhaps set in stone so there is no gray area surrounding it.
  24. Are you using the copy link on Photobucket? There are several on the left hand side of the screen and copy is the bottom one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
