Hi Kurt Ive been back through the last 26 Centurion approvals and only one had the Thermal det clips protrude below the belt. That one example the clips were only a few mm past the belt, unfortunatley yours look to be a good half inch plus, so we will still ask you to please shorten these so they dont look so obvious. Also you can still remove more of the return edge form your fore arms. Your build is beautiful so we are going to push you that little bit more to get it perfect.

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. First of all, thank you for taking all the advice given by your fellow troopers on board and making correction. Your armour definitely looks the better for it, great job mate. All we have know is a few paint touch ups and things to be mindful of while dressing, and you should be good to go to put in your Centurion application. These things aren't CRL related, but we do like to see our Centurion applicant looking the best they possibly can, so it will involve taking some new photos for that application. We think a clean up of the edges on the top and bottom button or even just touch them up so they look neat. Also touch up the side rivets Centurion Suggestions: In this area we try to prepare you for the best possible chance of a clean Centurion pass. Make sure you Thermal is sitting right your paint wear is fixed, and you go through the CRL for level 3 as well as the Centurion photo check list, and get that application in. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by us and your fellow troopers. Suggestions made here are to improve the overall look of your armor. If these suggestions would effect an application they will be mentioned in the above or below sections. Only a few very minor things to mention, so lets take a look. Two adjustments to your shouklder bell are going to get it sitting just right. The top strap needs just a touch more length to stop the overlap from occuring, and the Bell needs to be rotated forward to also even out the gap between the chest plate. The remainder of our suggestion are just a clean up with a bit of TLC, you will look pristine. As we see below there's some excess glue that needs removal. If its E6000, it will peel off very easily, but idf it is CA glue, you will need to carefully sand it off with fine sand paper then polish the area back to a gloss. I have used gradually finer paper and Novus polish in the past to fix similar incidents. Also while you have the fine sandpaper out, you have a few rough edges that can catch and damage your undersuit. We would recomend going over your entire kit and remove any that look similar to the edges in the below image. Lastly, a finishing touch on an amazing set of armour. Paint those screws on the Thermal Det black as per the screen used versions. Reference Image Centurion Suggestions: In this area we try to prepare you for the best possible chance of a clean Centurion pass. I think if you address the above mentioned issues and give your blaster some weathering (remember less is more) you will have one fine set of armour and a Centurion badge well in your grasp. Hi Paul We are going to give you the opportunity to fix 2 things before we get started. 1.The top of your shoulder bells sit way to far out from the plastic shoulder bridge. Could you please shorten up the top black elastic straps so they sit closer. They should nearly be touching but a small gap is fine. 2.Please remove the white paint from your Cod rivet and butt plate snaps, they should be left unpainted. Get these two things done and we will be away. Thank you

A great build that's for sure, so we only have a few adjustment suggestions to balance things out and get you looking your absolute best. Your shoulder bells need to come in ever so slightly at the top, but also need to be rotated forward to close up the gap between them and the chest plate. I think just a minor strap adjustment and better positioning while you suit up should take care of that. Looking at this image below, I think also if you drop those biceps and fore arms, the gap at the wrist end will be reduced and the look will be more even. Maybe 15mm or so drop should do the trick. Reference image This suggestion is one of comfort more than anything. I know if i attempt stairs and the like, my thighs dig in to me at the top, so taking the protruding corners off the top of the cover strips will tidy them up and give less material to dig in to you. Reference image We have a question about the mysterious mark on your belt. Is it a hole or a mark of some sort? either way if you can try and make it less visible, or even gone, that would be great. Lastly, onto an accuracy point, talthough the crews you have used are flat blade, they are of the wrong size (too large) and could really do with a coat of black paint for that screen used look. Reference image Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. There isn't much to add here, other than make sure you are across the CRL requirements at level 3 including the extra close up detail photos from the photo check list. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All requested photos are present and your armor meets all the requirements set out for EIB. UKswrath and myself would like to congratulate you on achieving Expert Infantry rank!! Great job trooper Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section, we review suggestions made by your fellow troopers and our own observations. All go towards improving the final look of your armor. If there is anything that would affect a future Centurion application it will be mentioned in that section at the bottom. Well you have done a remarkable job so far, but we have a few more minor adjustments and finishing touches that can make you look even better, so lets go through those. We still think those shoulder bells can come in a smidge moreat the top and also a small rotation forward to reduce the gap between shoulder bel and the shoulder bridge as well as the front edge of the bell to the chest plate. Reference image This is the stand out adjustment that visually is going to make big difference, and we are sure you will agree, make you look well balanced and comfortable with your look. Three minor adjustment required here. 1. drop those Biceps down about 1 inch. 2. raise the fore arms up by by 3/4 to an inch. This should give even gaps at the elbow and the wrist and a tidy look. 3. Rotate the fore arms inwards so their cover strips line up with the bicep cover strips The last suggestion in this section is simply one of accuracy, a finishing touch finishing touch, but if you could paint those screws black on your Thermal Det, it will look perfect. Reference Image Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. We have a couple areas that will need to be fixed if you choose to shoot for Centurion. Again only some simple adjusting will be needed to meet the CRL for Centurion It is a requirment that the drop boxes align with the ends of the plastic ammo belt. Perhaps a dab of glue or some Velcro will also stop them from moving around As per CRL For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes must have full inner drop boxes to close the back. Flat covers are not allowed. Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference image Lastly, close up those side gaps and check their alignment at the top, although we believe the back plate only slips up when you raise your arms That's it David, you are now Expert infantry, and soon hopefully you take the plunge and give Centurion a crack. OK Rebecca, I am having troubles with Photobucket at the moment so hope this reference image works, but we will need you to remove all the return edge from the wrist end of the fore arms. You still have some to take out where the dimples run on the back of the fore arm. There shouldn't be any left at that end at all. Forearm Armor For 501st approval: Forearms are fully closed. For level two certification (if applicable): For level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed Post up a new photo when done and i can post up your review

Hi Rebecca A D ring on the rear of your blaster is a requirement for your application with the type of E11 you have chosen. Please add one and post up a new photo E-11 Blaster (ESB) For 501st approval: Based on a real or replica Sterling sub-machine gun, scratch-built, or a modified commercial toy Stormtrooper blaster. For level two certification (if applicable): Folding stock (does not need to function). No ammo counter shall be present. D-ring mounted on the rear. Sterling based blasters have the correct M-38 or M-19 style scope. The M-19 scope is preferred. No power cylinders on the magazine housing. Scratch-built, resin cast, Hyperfirm rubber cast blasters shall have a total of 6 T-tracks on blaster (leaving the lowest row on the magazine housing side uncovered). If using the Hasbro E11 toy blaster, it is modified to have the correct number of T-tracks (6 total), with a lower row of open vent holes on the magazine housing side. This is accomplished by covering the pre-existing rows of holes with T-tracks, then grinding off the lower integrated T-track on the magazine housing side, and drilling a new row of holes in its place. For level three certification (if applicable): Hasbro blasters are not allowed, even conversions.

Another very nice set of RS armour and another great build, never get tired of reviewing these, and I'm glad to say there is not much to suggest in this section. You can probably close the gap between the chest and shoulder bells a touchby simply rotating them forward. Moving the top straps to the bells forward can also help make them sit closer. The other fine tune point would be to drop your left thigh and balance the gap between the tops and the cod. Reference image Centurion Suggestions: In this area we try to prepare you for Centurion. Any needed corrections will be posted here. Only two areas to address and place you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application so here they are.. As per the CRL For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box.We think you just need to secure these from behind the belt with Velcro or a dab of glue so they cant slip on the canvas belt Reference image The second point is the side shims. This will take a bit more work, but the end results we have seen by others in the past, make the effort well worth it. In the below image rthey look to be mounted behind the kidney plate, where they will need to be flush with it, the same way a but joint is made with a cover strip on the inside. The seam then needs to be filled with ABS paste, sanded and polished so as to make the entire part look as one piece. The CRL states For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor.A single visible seam line is present.The seam line refered to is the line between the Ab and Kidney, and of coarse needs to be replicated on the opposite side as well.
