  1. Thanks Nam we will be with you soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Hey Nam Can you please remove the white paint from the cod rivet and butt plate snaps. Take a new photo and post up when done. Thank you Andrew
  3. Almost there, but you also need to take it out of the ridge area completely. (Ridge area is the extended part wher the dimples run down the fore arm) we can still see you have some material there. I am on iPad at the moment but if you have a look in the photo references we have in the top bar on the web page, you can find photos of the return edges completely removed. Thanks brother. 4. Hey David, thank you for your application to Expert Infantry, lets see what we got! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for level 2. Welcome to Expert Infantry rank trooper! Thank you for the photo update of the cod rivet. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Got to say, you look awesome, and we love a quality RS build. The only thing I could suggest is to bring the top of the shoulder bells in to touch the bridges. Shortening the straps will have it done in no time. Reference Image Centurion Suggestions: Although I try to spot everything that might affect a Centurion application, the ultimate accuracy is up to the trooper. I cant find anything to add here, except follow the Centurion photo guide and we expect to see you in Centurion review soon. Congratulations once again.

  6. If you are running 5 v fans or 12v for that matter, try and get the lowest amperage you can. .06 amp is good for fans speed and run time. Many of them state .1-.3 amp. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Hi Aaron Can you please remove all the return edge from the wrist end of your fore arms as per the Centurion CRL Once done, can you please post up new photos of them. For level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. Thank you
  8. Hi David, don't worry about the chest, if you could remove the white paint off the cod rivet and butt snaps, that would be great. I will be with you shortly
  9. Hey David!!, thanks for your application and welcome to your EI review. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for level 2. Welcome to Expert Infantry trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations if any, made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Well well, a very nice build here indeed, we do have a few things to cover off, but none of them are major issues and some really just nice finishing touches. Overall its a great fit and well balanced, but you are having a small issue with the Butt plate popping out at either end. Your strapping positions look good and are close to the return edges, which leads me to believe that some heat bending might do the trick. Many use the hot water bath option as its gentle and takes a bit of time with less chance of failure like exists when using a heat gun. The center strap[ might be too tight as you can see in the images the plate is out and over the bottom of the Kidney plate. Keep an eye on the back plate overlapping the top of the kidney as well, in this case we think it is only a photo issue, but worth a brief mention so you look your best. Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. I will start with some things that need attention and finish with suggested changes. Looking at your rear photo, we see that the shin closure cover strips are too long. They need to finish at the base of the top ridge and not proceed onto it, and by the looks of it, this should be an easy and quick fix for you. Secondly, the rear thigh cover strips should be the same width as the shins, approximately 20 - 30 mm width. Yours look much wider and have a taper that increases with width as you reach the top. These will need some work for Centurion. Reference image of back of shin Reference image, back of thigh First of all if you hand painted this helmet, you have done an extraordinary job, so I am hoping you used decals for the tube stripes. These are generally a pencil width away from the cheeks, and we do allow a little wiggle room here but these push the boundary. We have asked some to fix this on the Anovos kits if they get out of hand, so if these are in fact decals, it would be great if you could re align them or even get a new set and try to space them evenly and closer to the cheeks. This is a suggestion, not a must fix. Another suggestion is to replace the Philips head screws with some slotted screws which are screen accurate, this should be an easy one and is one of those nice finishing touches. Reference image Well that's it, David, you are officially Expert Infantry, Congrats again, we hope you make the necessary modifications and we see you at Centurion review in the future.
  10. Hey David, sorry I am running a bit behind at the moment, will be with you shortly, and thank you for your patience. Could you please add a photo of the end of your blaster showing the D ring face on, thank you.

  14. Hi Remy, and welcome to your EI review, lets take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been posted however there is something that will require modification before we can award you the EI badge. As per the wording in the CRL in reference to your side shims. For level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. Any shims used to achieve this effect are of a similar material and color as the abdomen and kidney armor. Shims fit flush and seams are allowed. We are referencing the fact that your side shims are not a flush fit but sit behind the Kidney and abdomen plate. Generally a backing piece is used, then you glue the shim on top of that and align it with the edge of the kidney plate. Know the multiple seams are fine for EIB but only a single seam is allowed at Centurion. Here is an example of kidney shims from other EI applications for your reference. Ignore the rivets as they are not required for EI approval. If you can please attend to the above and resubmit a few new photos, we will continue with your review. You got this Remy, your so close.
  15. Hi Tom Don't stress buddy, we know not everyone fits into a TK the same. The desired look is to have them almost touching, but I can see by your photo that they may never do that. You have been given some good advise above, and i can see that there is a possibility that you can get them a bit closer. You can entirely remove that bottom return edge, in fact that way its actually screen accurate. it will also make the heat bending much easier and allow the bells to come in a touch. Once you try that, see if you cant shorten those top straps up a bit and we can have another look for you. Tony and I are here to help, so never a problem for you to shoot us a PM and ask us for advice. Hope to see an EIB application from you soon Cheers Andrew
  16. Welcome to your Centurion review Lee, lets get right into it!! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All submission photos are present and your armor meets all the Centurion requirements. Ukswrath and myself would like to congratulate you on a job well done Lee Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Thanks so much for making those two minor adjustments, and also very well done on dropping some weight , you look awesome buddy We have nothing more to add, except report for duty Centurion!!
  17. Hi Scott, thank you for your EI applications, lets look at your armour!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been posted and your armor meets all EI requirements. We would like to welcome you to the level of Expert Infantry, Congratulations!. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Thanks for the quick shoulder bell fix, you got it perfect, but also thanks for such a beautiful clean build. I love these kinda applications. We really only have an accuracy detail to mention, the screws on your thermal det. if you could paint those black that would be icing on the cake. Reference image. Centurion Suggestions: We have nothing really to add here, as long as the extra photos required for level 3 don't uncover anything drastic that we cant see from your already provided images. Just keep an eye on your ab and kidney slipping up out of alignment. Its only a photo issue noticeable in your side on shots. Congratulations once again, for a great application, build and your EI badge.
  18. Hi Scott, I am going to give you the opportunity to fix something up, while I catch up to date on application reviews. In you first image, it looks as though you have a good 1" gap between the top of your shoulder bells and the plastic shoulder bridges. If you could please shorten up those top straps so the top of the bells virtually touch the bridges, that would be great. They should look like this. We will be back with you soon.
  19. Hi Joe, welcome to your expert infantry review, here we go!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been posted and your armor meets all EI requirements. We would like to welcome you to the EI rank, Congratulations!. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this part of the review process, we see how the armour fits you and also check the balance of parts and some finer details. Our aim here is always to get you looking your best by suggesting tweaks and adjustments. This is a precursor to Centurion, but if anything is required according to the CRL for that level, we will make mention in the below section as well. We must say a big well done on this incredible build. Not only does it fit you well, but the balance and paint details on the helmet that arent decals is also spot on. Only Three minor things we can suggest. 1. Just keep an eye on the top shoulder bell straps. We can see that they are prety close to the bridges, but they are pulling the white elastic that connects chest to back, out from underneath the plastic bridges themselves. 2. The butt plate is popping out and moving up all way around. The easiest fix here is to use some wider, heavier duty elastic, and shorten the straps up, but you could also attach the snap plates closer to the return edge of the butt and kidney plates to allow less movement.Spacing the end two straps closer to the outer edges will stop the ends from popping out. 3. Thermal det screws. Just an accuracy thing for that just stepped off the movie set look. Centurion Suggestions: Although you must follow the guidelines as set out in the CRL for Centurion, the final level of accuracy is up to the trooper. You are indeed on the right path sir, its the eye for details we truly appreciate, and unless something comes up in the extra photos required in a level 3 submission, we see absolutely no reason why you cant go all the way. Have a crack at those above mentioned mods and you are there. Thank you for such a clean application, it was our pleasure to review it. Congratulation trooper,
  20. Hey Stephen, sorry for the delay, thank you for your application and welcome to your Centurion review!! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All submission photos are present and your armor meets all the Centurion requirements. Ukswrath and myself would like to congratulate, and welcome you to the rank Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: I like clean builds, and I can not lie, very nicely done. Thank you for painting the screws on your Thermal det, and working with tony and i on adjusting the position of the button plate as well. Also a big thanks for making the requested adjustments from your EIB thread, and we see you now have a handle on using a photo upload software. Another thank you for the last minute adjustment to the Thermal det, well done indeed. Once again, congratulations Trooper, get out their and continue to make your garrison proud!!
