  1. Hi Sean Could you please add a link to your EIB application to the top section of your Centurion app. Mic tip weathering isn't included in the CRL, it comes under the final level of accuracy of the costume is up to the applicant, so not mandatory just a nice finishing touch. We will get to you ASAP, still catching up on older applications, thanks for your patience. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Me likes da AP Hero build thread, good luck Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Hi Manny Before I can get your approval done and dusted, could you please change the stitching on your hand plates to the correct pattern as per the CRL. Please see the image below for how it should look. CRL If silk or satin gloves are worn, the hand plates have the correct visible stitching pattern using black cotton, with a five point/star pattern, equally spread out with 2 on each side and 1 in the middle front, and needs to be double stitched at each point. Your stitching currently How it needs to be done
  4. Hi Tom, great to see you at Centurion review lets go take a look. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted. Beautiful job on your build, With that your armor contains all necessary elements to qualify you for Centurion. Ukswrath and myself would like to welcome you to Centurion, and congratulate you on a job well done Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Nothing more to add.
  5. These BS series buckets are expensive here in Australia $149.00 Aus plus $30 shipping, even so, I still preordered one (A sucker and his money are easily parted lol) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Hey Dale!, welcome to your Centurion review and thank you for your application and patience, lets get it done. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: Thank you for bringing those side gaps in, all submission photos are present and your armour meets all requirements for level 3 Centurion. Congratulations on a well deserved rank Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: The only thing to mention here was brought up by one of your fellow troopers is to add a small piece of foam to the inside of your outer left thigh armour so it sits straighter and doesnt give you that knock knee effect. Congrats once again, head on out and keep making your garrison proud
  7. Hi Sean, thank you for your application to Expert Infantry, lets take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for level 2. Welcome to Expert Infantry trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. The only thing we can see in the photos provided, would be to keep an eye on how your ammo belt is sitting. You have it on quite an angle and the front should sitt right on the bottom of the button plate. Obviously this is no deal breaker jsut a dress issue to get you looking the best you can . Perhaps a piece of industrial adhesive Velcro in the center could prevent this from slipping down Reference image Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Thank you for a good clean application and a very nice armour build indeed, follow the CRL and the photo check list for Centurion and we shall see you there soon. Congratulations once more for a beautiful build and your well deserved Expert Infantry award
  8. Hi Sean Could you please post up a photo of the end of your blaster, so we have a clear image of the D ring. We are aware its not on the photo checklist and it is something that will be included on that list once we get to updating the CRL's. Thanks for your patience.
  9. Hey Rui!! welcome to your EIB review, lets see what we have. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos are present, and your armour meets the required elements as set out in the Expert Infantry CRL Congratulations Rui, you did it. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review any observation made by your fellow troopers and our own. If any of these would effect an application, they will be mentioned in the above and below sections. We do have some things to cover off regarding balance and alignment so lets start with your shoulder bells. Your gaps aren't to bad , just see if you cant shorten those top straps up a tiny bit more so the Bells almost if not touch the plastic bridges. Reference image Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. You have provided a good detailed set of photos so we do have some things that will need to be addressed before submitting your Centurion application. These are all easy fixes so lets see what needs to be done. Your side rivets could do with a repaint as much of the white is worn off. We do like our troopers to present at their absolute best at Centurion so this should only take you a couple of minutes. While on the subject of paint, the cod rivet and butt snaps should not be painted white, so removal of this is required. Next we look at your Ab to kidney alignment. It does look like these possibly slipped out of place during the photo taking session, but be mindfull of this when taking new Centurion shots please. On this side you have a large gap at the bottom which really should be correct and no more than 12.5 mm in this EI application, but will need to be closed both top and bottom for Centurion, as per the CRL For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor.A single visible seam line is present. On the opposite rivet side the Ab and kidney plates are slipping out of line, so either the Ab needs to come up or the kidney plate down to correct this. Well thats it Rui, we love reviewing RS armour, they are great kits for sure, and your is no exception. Just a few easy adjustments and minor changes and you should be good to submit for Centurion. Congratulations Trooper, head on out and make your Garrison proud.
  10. Hey Carlos, welcome to your long awaited Centurion review, lets get to it. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos are present. Your armor meets the requirements for the Centurion CRL, with that a big Congratulations!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we usually make comment on any elements that can make you look the best you possibly can. We do thank you for your persistence with t those shoulder bells, finally they are perfect. You have a beautiful build and a well deserved Centurion rank. I for one would be proud to march beside you Congratulations trooper
  11. Thanks for posting up the new images Carlos, I am just completing your review now, your wait is almost over.
  12. Interesting, I have AP armour I bought approx 3 years ago and it has yellow stains or actually a logo of some description appearing in more and more places over time. I found the only way to get rid of them was to sand them off, then use Novus Polish 1, 2 and 3 to try and bring it back to a glossy finish. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. It comes and goes, seems to be ok at the moment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Are you using Photobucket or Imgur? Just make sure you are copying the lower link on the right hand side if using PB and then right click and paste into your app thread If its Imgur, select the link that says for forums and past as above. Hope that helps a little
  15. Hi Rui Any chance we could get some new full side photos please. As it stands you have a large and uneven gap on your left side that will need to be adjusted and your right side rivets are out of alignment. Id say they have shifted during the photo taking process. Secondly, we have a question regarding your thigh cover strips. Are they the same width at the bottom as they are at the top. In your photos they look like they gradually get wider where they should be the same uniform size top to bottom. Thank you Sly
  16. Hey Mark, great looking build my friend. Please accept our apology for the delay. This is the first application for the new CRL so Tony and I will be working on it together. Tony is currently away, so when he gets back we will get stuck into it. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
  17. Hi Darren, thank you for your patience and your application for Centurion! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos are present. Thank you for making the suggested minor corrections, your armor meets all requirements as set out by the level 3 CRL. With that Ukswrath and myself would like to congratulate and welcome you to the Centurion ranks. Great job. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: We must thank you for your persistence getting this armour to fit you so well. The helmet upgrades are first class as is your build. Congratulations once again, continue to make your garrison proud.
  18. Hi Carlos, any chance you can shorten those top straps that connect your shoulder bells to the bridges please, your armour looks great but it could look even better with that little adjustment
  19. Just checking in to see how you are going Darren. As soon as you think you can get that gap closed a touch more we will get your approval done and dusted. Thanks for your efforts.
  20. Hey T.J. thank you for your application, lets take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present, your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Congratulations Trooper well done! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by us and your fellow troopers. If there are any suggested corrections they will be made here, if any will effect a future application, they will be made in the Centurion section below. Not too much to work on here so in our books that's a good thing, and means we have a good solid build to review. The items we will cover are all adjustments and some trimming to get this great armour to fit you even better. Lets have a look at the balance of your armour first. Overall its very good, just need to bring that right shoulder Bell in so it matches the left and we are good to go there. Reference image Next we shall discuss some minor trimming of excess return edge. This one is a suggestion, but we will have some trimming that will also be covered in the Centurion section below. We think almost half the amount of return can com off the chest and back plates sides, and the bottom of the chest and back. This will allow the plates to sit closer to your body and give a better form fit. Centurion Suggestions: In this section Uk or myself may suggest recommended or required repairs prior applying for the Centurion level however, the accuracy it is ultimately up to the trooper. From this image, we see that you're having some fun with the butt plate popping out on the sides. There are two modifications that are going to help rectify this . 1: Again some return edge removal is required, this is going to allow the plate to curve easier than it currently can. Removing all but maybe 3-4mm from along the top, sides and bottom returns so the entire plate flexes. 2: relocate the attachment straps from Butt to Kidney plates. Move the outer two much closer to the edge, refer to the image below this one. You could also possibly upgrade to a better strapping system than Velcro like wide elastic with snap plates for example (suggestion only) but refer to the below image for relocation of outer most straps. and, if we can refer back to the image above this one of the Drop box, we can see returns left on them as well. These are very thick and generally on the originals looked to be around 15mm thick only, so the little Kick out still visible from where they were vac formed will no longer be there when you trim these down, similar to the photo below. Well, that's it T.J. you made it to Expert Infantry, and there is no reason you cant hit it out of the park for Centurion either! Congrats again, make your adjustments and mods, refer to the Centurion CRL and Photo reference page, and we hope to see you again soon.
  21. Hi Nick Great job with that armour mate, very clean and tidy. As Joseph has mentioned, return edges on the top of thighs can be removed for comfort, and are not a requirement. You can scallop out the ridge at the back of the thigh bottoms and the top of the rear of your shins, but don't go to crazy. Look at some screen caps from the movie and other Centurion applications where the same thing has been done. I had to do mine so I could walk, so it is not uncommon. Manny will say, get basic approval first, then modify your armour to suit, and I agree with this, but comfort is an important thing as is mobility.
  22. Jimmi strikes again, such an awesome job yet again, and so fast. I am super impressed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  24. Hi Darren Any chance we can get some photos of your sides with your arms forward and not raised. We need to make sure you don't have those gaps on each side between the Ab and Kidney plates as per the CRL for Centurion. Thank you
