  1. Wow, just wow! What a great build.
  2. Congratulations Alex, welcome to Expert infantry rank.
  3. Hi Gavin, welcome to FISD. Yep you certainly have some exciting times ahead of you. Enjoy building armour with your dad, what an experience.
  4. Nope, no difference or affect on any level of approval.
  5. Woo Hoo! Congrats AleX I shall reveal another sneak peek of the merch item when we hit 20.
  6. Can also come down to the thickness of the ABS, it is amazing how even a 10th of a mill can make a difference to a pull. Other factors include pre stretching, evacuation capacity, heat level, buck warming etc.
  7. I checked it out and for some reason the words No Award appeared in the box where we normally add a letter to determine how many amours you have helped to build. Occasionally we have some strange IT glitches pop up like the trooping awards for those that never registered a troop but it's all fixed now, hopefully. Carry on with your good work Chris.
  8. Congrats on your BBB day, looking forward to your build thread and consequent approval.
  9. This doesn't make sense, I shall give it further investigation. Edit: please try again, I believe the problem was in the permissions section, you should now be able to see, comment and download the PDF's from that section.
  10. You will still be able to buy the special merch item as I'm opening that up to the membership, sorry for your situation Caleb.
  11. TFA TD are solid resin and over 1.4 Kg, TLJ is definitely an insert for the tube and much lighter. Yes CRL will be getting an overhaul once Tony is up and running again. New images and addendum for TroS as well. Sorry Christine, back to you now.
  12. Even rubbing Newspaper on your armour can give a light weathering effect, and it also easily polishes off.
  13. Hi Darryl, Sandtroopers are MEPD Detachment as they are the dirty TK's, some say the ones that actually do the hard work Perhaps head on over there as they have the CRL's of which you will have to build your costume to. http://forum.mepd.net/ As to vetted sellers, their list may differ to ours but head on over to the getting started section. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/
  14. Welcome out from the shadows . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Welcome aboard Erina, we all felt intimidated the first time we built armour, but is is easier then you think. Look at it this way, you are going to learn some new skills, your confidence will skyrocket after you make your first few cuts and trims, and you have the support of the detachment right there with you all the way. I look forward to following your progress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Congratulations Nada, I knew you could do it. Your orders are en route, please stand by
  19. Excellent news Chris, looking forward to the build.
  20. Nice work, this is going to look awesome.
  21. Stormtroopers have never had such good aim as they do right now. The countdown is well and truly on and I for one am getting pretty darn excited at the prospect of hitting the 1000 Bullseye in the next few months. Great work to all that have already submitted and to those building like crazy to get into the first 1000 group. DO team, you are all doing a wonderful job appraising and approving troopers, thank you for your efforts. I will reveal another piece of the merch item when we hit 20 which I suspect will be by next week at this rate.
