  1. Wow - that was a nice TX. I can't wait to see your new one
  2. Adding pix so you don't have to follow links: Contact Trooper1 on MEPD, or email : [email protected] (this is public info) -----------

    E 11 Blaster

Wow - these look great! I'd love to hear a trooping report on their durability.
  4. Excellent news Steve! Congrats on both occasions - guess it means we'll see more of you about
  5. Way to go Allan! You're only the 4th EIB ROTJ we've ever had, and the first in the Pacific NW
  6. Oh come now - there are a lot of "cross dressers" on both boards
  7. I'll have to agree on resin vs. Hyperfirm. With the except of the SE-14R I have, every single resin weapon I've owned has broken and chipped and god forbid you ever drop it. Hyperfirm as noted is not as well detailed but I've dropped each one I had not never worried about them at all, nor have I worried about dumping it in a bin. There are some really good 'how to pimp a hyperfirm' threads out there now. Also, they do go on sale. Last batch of ESB hyperfirms went for $225 shipped & painted.
  8. I don't have IE7 anymore (both Win2008R2 and Win7 ship with IE8 by default), but I'm running IE8 & FF3.6 with no issues aside from one CSS issue in IE8 around search. Does anyone have IE7 that they can cross check? I ask in that I'm able to get 100% functionality in both IE8 & FF3.6, and cannot repro any of these issues in either browser.
  9. Hmmm...great idea for a sticky...
  10. Beautiful - the trooper flower is so cool. Can't wait to see how these brothers grow up
  11. My suggestion is to glue the fronts and velcro the backs for the first troop or two. It's easy to make them too tight as well as too loose, and it's best to trim a little at a time until they are correct.
  12. Honestly, I'd love to see the blaster pix copied out to a HOWTO thread if you're open to it.
  13. I'm still floored by the hyperfirm pimping. If you and Billy Haggis ever had kids...oy! I bet your RT will be rocking given your mad skillz
  14. What was the resolution?
  15. Nice! Next will be interesting to see anyone who makes this pack. I'll certainly push this with Thomas/LMO to be a canon accessory if so.
  16. I only have one hi-def screen cap and sure enough it shows the two fasteners on the bottom. Also, I copied the EIB details wrong and will correct them - the rivets should be *should* have. You can see this at: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=7666 Which was approved last August. OK, off to edit I go...
  17. Yup, could be I did a typo. Also, this is *suggested* for EIB and not required, so you'd be good either way. I'll have to go home & check the caps unless someone posts them between now and then.
  18. Yes it is, and for the price they simply can't be beat and you know the service will be top shelf. I tried selling my old SethB pauldron to no avail unless I take a big loss. Even Rolf's pauldrons are more expensive.
  19. It looks like crap Allan - you'll have to come show it to me in person over beers ;-) I'll buy j/k - looks great though we'll need more detail shots.
  20. FWIW, I posted it in that stormtroopers are never seen fighting alone, and while Jedi or a Jango Fett may be more powerful on a 1:1 situation, the strength of a stormtrooper lies in numbers.
  21. Never leave your buddies behind, and all that too.
  22. I don't know how AP is now, but when I bought mine in early '06 it was a perfect match for my FX.
  23. At the least, it would be a reliable vendor of ROTJ style armor. I would worry as pointed out how much work would be involved in maintaining them.
  24. I'd agree in the same way that no two sandtroopers have the exact same pattern, nor do clones. One can try to emulate a particular character from reference if one chooses, but that is not mandatory at all.
