Also for consistency, we require each photo be shown separately rather than a pointer to a single bucket. You can see this being the case for all 100+ previous EIB.

The only one who can say for 100% certainty if it will be accepted is Thomas Spanos, the LMO. I suspect it will depend on references. Remember that the requirements for most costumes are usually not about 100% screen accuracy, else all ANH TK's for instance would have to have rubber chemical gloves with latex hand plates, etc. I would suggest - given the evidence you presented - that it would be worthwhile creating a poll to change the CRL/EIB to allow dark gray drop boxes instead of red as is currently required (actually I think Thomas is approving them with none). For the tube stripes again I believe we can't always go off of renders - the artists sometimes introduce variations w/o any concern for precedent. I'd say that if it looks like an canon TK in terms of tube stripes you're fine, if you add the extra to match the reference this is allowed but not mandatory. Again, this can be voted on too. Lastly for the pauldron, the current CRL/EIB already states that the folded over version is a should have but both the CRL/EIB & Thomas (LMO) allow the regular kind. Should the EIB be updated? I'd say if we ever get to ~33% of Legion Incinerators being EIB it will be time to up the standards, but I'd like to see more ICN EIB's in the fold before doing so, as currently making a screen accurate pauldron for this costume seems a hard barrier to hit.

This is what I do. For ANH I use chemical gloves with latex hand guards. ESB & my TD, both are black nomex flight gloves. Yes, some day they'll be updated, but one thing at a time.

Should one get just the core, of anything else? Should I gut my actual counter, or get a knockoff?

You go Nathan! You know, I used to work out religiously 3x/week and was at 10% body fat. I haven't worked out in 4 years, but what I did start doing was one set of pushups in the morning. Started with 25, am up to 45. My point is that even a little bit helps. Just walking 30 minutes 3x/week will do a lot for you brother. Also, stop drinking soda, fast food, and really work to cut portion size and eat more veggies. It can be a struggle once you hit your 30's and more so when you hit the 40's, but alas we're no longer at the age where we can eat a whole pizza with chips and drink a quart of Mountain Dew and not gain a pound. You can do it Nathan - I'm rooting for you * btw, I think you'll find your libido will go up as the weight comes off. Just sayin'..

Quick work and IMHO it looks great I really dig your weathering and the little details you added to make the paint look like something done in the field, and that has worn naturally.

The gray on the frown shouldn't come out of the teeth area though - it should be easy enough to scrape away. We used to see this a bit more back in the early days of the program, but to be fair to others who came before we did make them adjust it.

No worries. Remember that there are two flavors of EIB TKC - one based on the ROTJ armor and one on ANH-Stunt armor. Since you are doing the action figure variation the base is ANH-Stunt, and you should reference that as a starting point for all details unless otherwise over-ridden by the TKC EIB.

The O2 cylinder needs a control panel.

The build is quite excellent and you should be proud. You look really good Only suggesting I can offer is to use a flat gray/silver instead of gloss, but that's a small detail.

Err...when I said price was no object, I think there would be an object-tion if I spent that much =:-0 Not saying it's a fair price, but I'd need to sell some other costume first.
