  1. Mate, I think your L Thigh cover strip is too long....from the pix I've seen it stops (about an inch) before the bottom....check some pictures on this site to verify...other than that it looks great !
  2. Great idea...I love the innovations found here !!!
  3. AP Armor has a one piece kidney/butt plate that has to be physically separated leaving no return edge to attach screws....trying to add a return edge would be considerable and possibly destructive work to your armor if the mod went wrong just for the sake of adding screws . Although I agree with the idea of a screen accurate bracket/strapping system for Centurion Level there are some armor makers such as AP who I previously listed that this would be a challenge for....and they are screen derived. Ultimate screen accuracy is ideal but then does the armor have to ultimately be screen derived for authenticity/accuracy or fan made because of its look and better appearance ? And don't forget Paul they did have duct tape holding pieces together on some troopers...and calves on the wrong legs and other things you're probably more aware of than me that don't look so great..... I'll look you up for some armor Paul when I'm residing in Australia next...I'll let you know when...
  4. Thanks, I was hoping someone would respond, be it Mark or otherwise...Cheers !
  5. What type of glue do you use to attach the elastic to the inside of the shin ?

  10. If it was me, I would save the money and go the metalizing route...expensive yes but all you need is to see another C3PO that has had this done and you'll wish you'd done it too...Just my $.02...

  13. Hi Ingrid, Are you running a 12V or 5V fan ?...I'm considering options right now (there are so many out there) and I also have AP so I may hit you up for an order once I'm certain which way I'm going with this...LMK if you can help...

  16. You could try gluing the handguards to a similar size "patch" cut from the black rubber chemical gloves that we all use and then try gluing the rubber patch to the nomex glove. Gluing the black rubber glove backing that is now on the back of the handguard may be easier than trying to glue the hand guard directly to the nomex flight glove. Or alternatively just cutting small squares of the black rubber chemical gloves and gluing rubber "patches" to the back of the handguard and gluing the handguard via those patches to the nomex glove that way. I have not tried either method but I do know that the white handguards Karen sold me ONLY stuck to the rubber chemical gloves when I used the LocTite glue with Activator pen she recommended...Very few glues seem to secure those handguards onto any kind of glove....but gluing rubber to nomex may be a little easier... Just a thought...
