  1. Does anyone in the US have shoe inserts, I can only find UK sizing, this could be a good guide against the tk boots
  2. any combination of 5 numbers, list of available numbers here *note you can not apply for a number until you have a 501st approved costume
  3. I am about the same, done a couple of trials and about 10-15 minutes. I haven't trooped yet so I am trying to get it down to a fine art before I do. I think a bit more practice, also remembering what to put on first and I will be good
  4. After reading some threads and seeing that some of you use special dates in your lifes for you TK ID I thought I would start this thread for those of you who would like to share. Mine I spent hours trying to come up with a number that I liked, most of the ones I had thought of had been taken so I had always liked TK421 but knew this was taken, then I looked at what phone digits converted to from letters to numbers and came up with TK 85421 which 8 = T, 5=K , so now I have 85421=TK421 ---------
  5. Congrats on approval, now where is that EIB application LOL
  6. Waiting for post is the worst, good tip for others make sure you order things early. Hopefully you will be out trooping as a TK soon. I have to wait until March, they don't troop in my local garrison much, may have to change that lol
  7. Use a bit of bondo, a sand and you would never know once it's painted
  8. Looking great, just if you apply for EIB try to get everything sitting right when taking the photos, have less hassles then. Good luck with approval
  9. Looking good, you could have made it the same length as a sterling by cutting of the front barrel and replacing with PVC pipe, then drilled the holes and used T track. Could then have added some hi-bright led's inside, you get a great glow through the gaps between the holes and T tracks. Also a nice mod is add a cocking handle and cut the slot, there's just enough room inside to fit a spring. Nice work
  10. What height are you, I'm 6 foot and my ab plate fits fine. When I first put everything together I had to do some adjusting here and there to get everything in its right place. Btw my cod is snug but not uncomfortable, I would try your chest and ab sections together and see how they fit before cutting anything
  11. Congrats, well you do need a snack to calm your stomach after the panic sets in LOL.
  12. You would be better contacting your armor maker, I have read that some makes are different colours
  13. Day one, put one of my big feet on my tube of e6000, split the nozel lucky I taped it right away and it was ok. Next went to trim the teeth on lid, slipped with dremel and gouged out my thumb, bled over the helmet, went to get some cleaner knocked over my drink, had to clean that up too, while cleaing got some liquid in the gouge on my thumb and stung like hell. Brother you aint alone, deep breaths and if all esle fails, step back and have a nice stiff drink, for me beam works wonders. Keep you chin up it gets easier, good luck
  14. The Dave M work well and fit nice on the ATA lid. To apply them I use a bit of soapy water and spray it on the helmet first, then apply the decals, the soapy water allows you to be able to move the decals around to get the right position, then all you have to do is use some tissue to squeeze out the water
