  1. Hello generally not, there are only a few makers who supply a list of parts with their kits, most don't. With regards to assembly follow builds already posted on this forum, I believe there are also some youtube videos available to view on armor assembly. Also depending on the maker some have build groups on Facebook. When it comes to assembly research is the key, looking forward to seeing your build thread soon, good luck.
  2. Wouldn't say I was hyped as I don't get in to the games much, but I do enjoy seeing the new details coming out, like the code disk on the officer hat upside down
  3. Looking smart trooper, good luck on your first troop
  4. The gaps are fine, I prefer a smaller gap myself but shouldn't hold you up for approval
  5. Great work, looking good
  6. Every piece adds up in the end
  7. Here are a couple of those threads: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/37251-info-on-tkarmourcom-vendor/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/40067-tkuk-armor-is-it-a-rippoff/ Lots of great info about armor makes and sizing in the Getting Started Section.
  8. Hello and welcome aboard, head to Spec Ops forum as they look after Death Troopers and will be able to help you. Here are the guidelines for the costume approval for the 501st legion https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TX_deathtrooper
  9. Congratulations
  10. I have used replacements to magnets in the past, clamps and tape will work just as well if you need to keep plodding along. For a punch if you have a small piece of pipe or a brass fitting you could grind down the sides to a sharp edge and use this to punch holes, it has worked for me in the past when I couldn't find my punch. A video which gives you the general idea
  11. Coming along nicely. Some pieces do seem to fall into place as you say, others not so much, a few teaks can be needed on more complex pieces as you have found. Keep up the great work.
  12. Great news about the armor, hopefully it won't take too long until you see a BBB on your doorstep
  13. You can tell, looks great, nice work
  14. Most impressive, great work
  15. Looking good, won't be long until you are well underway, good luck
  16. Nice work keep it up
  17. Looking forward to the progress
  18. Great news there's nothing better that a BBB, good luck with the build, now let the panic set in
  19. A couple of things about Cardinal when thinking about his armor: "CD-0922 was one of the first of the new stormtroopers of what would later become the First Order" "From the time I first put on this armor, he trusted me to keep him safe. He designed it himself because he said red was a color of power " "Cardinal was presented by Hux with a personalized set of red Stormtrooper armor and given the name Cardinal" So it was personalised armor designed by Hux early on in the rise of the First Order, could this explain where Phasma found a prototype helmet? But what other pieces did she use and what other pieces on Cardinal's armor was different to the standard FOTK's? From the novel Phasma replicated a standard FOTK's set of armor and a prototype helmet but no mention of any other pieces so it really doesn't explain why she is so different to other FOTK's, did she design some pieces herself, did she copy what she had seen on Cardinal's armor?. A lot of this build is going to be an interpretation of what could of been worn until more solid references can be found / produced. Keep up the great work, hopefully more images will come available, there is still more of the Cardinal's story to be told and hopefully it will be.
  20. Looking forward to the progress, good luck with the build
  21. Here is Pandatroopers how too thread on using heat irons, could be of use https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/12972-howto-make-a-return-edge-on-armor-using-a-heat-sealing-iron/ Good luck
  22. Looking good, just make sure you give both sides a scuff with some sandpaper before applying any adhesive, will give it something to grip too.
