Not when you see items on early armor that you also see in TFA TLJ. It's a mix match of what ever the costume department has put together, sometimes complete costumes, sometimes additional items to what is already available. They are not as worried about the inconsistency's as us poor lowly costumers

Normally you use a larger cover strip on the rear, 25mm, gives a little more area for veclro to attach. Correct. But I would not use a veclo that already has adhesive on, I find it will come loose over time, use non adhesive Velcro (or remove the adhesive) then glue with E6000, also rough the areas before adding the glue, will help adhere to it. --------

I find double snapping especially on high strain areas can be handy, if you loose a snap you still have a backup and can still troop

Nice work trooper, you may want bring that elastic down to the lower edge on your shoulder bells

Once you are approved I guess you could change the side of the holster but for approval and cannon troops it should be on the correct side

Although not cannon here is an ear rank guide, remember it was just for fun It's not until the sequel trilogy that we start seeing ranked Stormtroopers by their pauldrons.
